best haircut of my life!!! my first professional appointment ever, and immediately as i walked in i felt comfortable. complimentary snacks and drinks and a friendly staff that welcomes you right in. i went to the carmel location hoping for a somewhat affordable cut for my specific hair type, and that's exactly what i got. Astraea was my stylist and they were so kind! she told me everything she was doing and gave me so many tips on how to take care of my curls in the future. i booked my next appointment right after i finished my first and my hair has never looked and felt so healthy in my life. absolutely would recommend to anyone who's looking for a quality cut!

Today was my first time visiting KKBB in Carmel. Alex is a great colorist and has a wonderful professional disposition. Loved my scalp massage and can't wait for my next visit. Thank you to the amazing greeters for making me feel welcome.

Do not have Maya cut your hair. She really messed my hair up. One side longer than the other bangs longer on one side and chopped up.  She did do good on the color highlights. But she sucks at cutting hair.

Do not go to this place! I searched for a salon that uses my specific color after my stylist had to cancel due to being ill(if I weren't leaving town I would have waited)and came across this place. Was super excited to get my hair done and looked forward to the appointment. I gave the stylist my specific Color formula I've used for the last two years down to the ratios. We discussed doing my base color, low lights, and my highlights. So I was completely shocked when my hair was a completely different color after shampooing! She took it upon herself to change my formula and didn't tell me, I found out after looking at her notes she left on the counter. She then had to re-color the new growth with a DARKER level to cover her mistake which also colored over the highlights(1.5in out from the base)So basically my hair now looks like I need it highlighted again! What was suppose to be a 3-3.5hr appt turned into 5hrs and it looks horrible. So disappointed. She didn't even apologize which if she would have at min said "I'm sorry", that would have went a long way with me. Later was told I could rebook with a master stylist to fix it. How about they train ALL their stylist to listen to their clients and there wouldn't be the need to for a MS to clean up the mess.

I had a blowout as part of an event another stylist was doing and Alissa is who did my hair. She was very attentive and described everything she was doing.  She took the time to educate me about my hair and how and what products to use. Sure, it is helping to sell products, but each time she used a product, she explained why I should use it and even made me touch my hair and the product so I knew what to look for.  She asked me what my issues were with my hair so she could better understand how to help me. She really wanted to trim the back of my hair, but couldn't due to the event.  I asked her why she wanted to do it and decided I would make an appointment with her so she could do what it was she wanted.  I came in on a Saturday at 5 pm and that place was packed.  Every stylist was working I think and it was super loud as they all work right next to each other.  I'm used to a private room! She dry cut since she had just washed it the day before and confirmed I was okay with that.  She took her time and showed me the end result and I could feel and see the difference.  She wasn't trying to "steal" me per se from my long time stylist. She wanted to teach me what can be done differently and to show my stylist what I want going forward.  If you are in the market for a new, fresh stylist who will educate and listen to you, I definitely recommend Alissa.
