Think twice before you book Jamilia. Late and no show for appointments, and braids that fell out after 1 day! When I tried to go back in and give her the opportunity to fix her braiding she did she blew me off for 3 days and then didn't show at all for our scheduled appointment. Wouldn't answer the phone when I called. A waste of time and money... I only speak for her services - very unprofessional and I will never go there again.
Made my appointment 3 weeks prior, drove 1 hour from Everett, arrived 15 minutes early only to be told she was not available. Kinda crushes a girls day and I wish we would have known before doing the 2 hour round trip drive. Advice: Call her before you come to confirm your own appointment, otherwise, you might waste your time. It was an hour drive for me.
Jamilia is great! She is very knowledgeable about natural hair, uses and recommends the best products, and offers a great experience in the shop. She doesn't overbook, so you don't have to worry about spending your whole day in the salon. Her rates are on target and she does an outstanding job. Finding a stylist can be a challenge, especially when you're new to the area, but I've found my stylist with Jamilia. Personally, I'm picky about who does my hair - I've not had a stylist that I have liked this much in *several* years. My hair is in great condition because of her care and daily maintenance advice.
