I love this nails salon .Everyone is really nice , always feel welcome here . Good quality nails, I have been getting my nails dip for several years , and it always lasted 3,4 weeks without chipping . very nice customer service as well
I wasn't able to get to my usual salon so I went here on a Sat. I had an appointment but they were pretty busy and had to wait, which was fine.
I wanted a gel mani. I've had many so I know pretty much what to expect. My "soak" was a joke. Plain tepid water for like a min., and my cuticles could have been trimmed a lot better. My tech was often busy chatting with the other techs and would actually stop doing my nails to engage with them. She really made me nervous while chatting, handling that sharp cuticle nipper and not watching. I've been cut before at a few other places so I'm gun shy.
A few other steps that every other shop does with a mani were skipped such as I've never had the top of my nails dremeled and not smoothed out with that red & black sponge they use. Luckily the roughness did not show through the polish. My edges were not as clean as they could be so I'm picking stuff off myself.
She whispered a few times to me, "I'll put two top coats on for you....shhhhh....don't tell anyone". I call that, "big tip hinting" which I don't appreciate. I've had plenty of other salons put two clear coats on without saying a word.
Lastly, it cost $37 before tip. Sorry, not worth it. I left a decent tip because I'm a decent person but won't be back.
As a walk-in, we was seated for a pedicure immediately. I have had several pedicures before and have been to this establishment before and was extremely happy until this visit. This visit was different. The cost was $28 for a basic pedicure, that to me is reasonable if it's done correctly. The painting was not good. She did not cut my nails straight across. The paint was out on too thick. I had to ask her to use the Dremel, which I should not have had to because Kenny used the Dremel on my guests toes sitting right next to me.
I asked if they had a light that can dry my nails, she told me it must have been broke because it didn't work. I only had a blower blowing air on my nails which I know it doesn't work, not with my nails and as thick as she put the polish on with a top coat. I was told to put the heat on in my car as we drove home, which I did.
Got home with the slippers they put on my feet, because I knew without the light it wasn't going to stay on. Sure enough, my pedicure is gone.
The polish was not dry as I figured, not my first rodeo without the light.
Won't be back.
Must have the light to dry the polish. I have to go somewhere else to have them paint them and redo my pedicure. Ugh. Frustrating.
This salon is NOT closed.. in fact they are the best in town. Amazing service and people!!!!
