I've been going to K's for a few years now. To be honest, the men's barber shops that I've been to either don't listen to me when I say I want my hair long on top, and proceed to give me a buzz cut, or when they take out their scissors they make me look like Lloyd in Dumb and Dumber. I've never had a bad experience at K's, they're always pleasant and do what I ask them to do. Also, $22 for a men's haircut at a salon is on the cheap side, especially on Long Island. Recently, I got a haircut from K's that I couldn't make look good for the life of me. It was what I asked for, but my hair just didn't fall the way I thought it would fall, regardless of what I did to it. So I went back to K's, telling them that it was what I asked for, but I wasn't happy with it. The owner was very nice, and said she'd rather I come back to her than change the place I go to. She adjusted my haircut free of charge. When you go get your haircut at the same place for years, and you get different style cuts here and there, eventually you're going to get a cut you don't like. I would've gone back to K's regardless of whether or not the owner charged me for the adjustment, but not charging me made me have a higher opinion of the salon.
never ever go to this place for makeup , they'll literally just wing it with everything . the "makeup artist" has no clue what she's doing . really a wast of money
