K Beauty Salon in Newark, CA

I've been a loyal customer of Krystal's at the Beauty Methods in San Jose during covid. I'm so sad she moved to Newark, but I stopped getting my lashes done since 2022 anyway because of increased social expenses and back to office minimizing my free time.

I got my lashes done for the first time in a year for some festivals. I got hybrid wispy lashes done as usual (unfortunately forgot to take a picture close up and don't want to upload my festival pictures in case grandma sees). The salon is not as nice as Beauty Methods but I'm happy to be here knowing she gets more of my money, and she still has the reclining seat and heated blanket so it basically feels the same once you close your eyes. With these lashes I was able to sleep in and not do my makeup or worry about it getting ruined if I am dancing if crying.

I had no idea that during this time she had a baby!! She doesn't look like it. I hope her and her sisters business pop off - the reviews are already giving. I will come back one day for my wedding lashes.

I've been looking for a lash place near Fremont because most of the places are in south San Jose. Thank goodness I found K beauty! So close to me and Krystal and Jenny are the best!! Krystal takes the time to understand what I need and she is meticulous at her work. Another huge place is that they also have lazy boys as the chairs you lay in.

I have been going to her for just everyday lashes and I used her for my wedding lashes. You will not regret going to her. My wedding makeup artist even told me these lashes are great quality because they did not fall off when she was doing my makeup.

Reallly good quality lashes and in Newark!  Highly recommend!! Go book an appointment online you won't regret it!!

Very unprofessional and not welcoming to black clientele. I wanted to like this lash bar because a colleague highly recommended their services.

They did not communicate their deposit policy and were not friendly when I entered the establishment. The overall work was good but the lack of customer service and communication coupled with the questions around maintenance of my natural lashes did not provide a welcoming experience.

I suggest finding a welcoming establishment that is open to all client types. Avoid

I have been going to this salon for lash extensions for the last year and there has been hiccups in communication re: appointments and last min changes. These were always things that I was able to communicate through.

The last few months they implemented a deposit policy before every appointment even with clients who were established and did not properly communicate the change. To add to the miscommunication they also did not communicate their expectation of the deposit before confirming appointments. Their confirmation system is not reliable and they can have a deposit from you but then tell you they cannot book you for your desired appointment time that you confirm via their app.

Through the poor communication I continued to book as they were nice when you were in the salon and seemed focused on comfort although they had a rude demeanor if you were 5 mins late.

August 22 I attempted to book via the app for an appointment and sent my deposit via zelle. Every appointment I booked was declined after 48 hours of this I contacted Jenny directly. I told her I was trying to book and continued to have my appointments declined. I asked if anything was wrong and no reply. I asked if they were not accepting bookings and no reply. Finally I asked for a refund which they did provide but then no reply to my question of when they will have availability again.

I ended up finding a more reputable lash service in the area, the poor communication and the inconsistencies in booking I would stay away. Plus the new lash bar that I went to said that they were applying the lash extensions too close to my natural lash line and that is why I was experiencing glue build up after one week of refill. BEWARE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, they are non communicative and rude.

Krystal does a fantastic job! I love my volume lashes and it looks great on me! There was for sure a drastic difference on my face! Thank you K beauty!
