If you're thinking about shopping there think again the owner watches you like a hawk and makes it very uncomfortable to shop. It's rude and unnecessary

This is the worst hair store in Louisville do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!!!!

They have a smaller selection. Some of their hair products are overpriced compared to other beauty supplies online, downtown and walmart. In some cases they have cheaper items. But I'll pay the $1-5 extra to not have someone essentially telling me "I'm watching you, you people always steal, so I don't trust you."

Every time I visit this store the woman inside watches me aggressively the entire time I am there. I happen to look up and she is literally glaring. I'm not sure if she's always having a bad day with people stealing by the time I come in or what, but it's gotten to the point where I can't continue to shop somewhere I'm made to feel uncomfortable during every visit for the whole duration. You can be cautious without overdoing it.

Maybe she doesn't remember me from the several visits I've had to this store, but this should not be the experience of your returning customers.

Ebonyline, wigtypes and hairtobeauty are good sites. Even with shipping from these sites you will end up paying around the same amount as you would here. I understand that it's nice to have a store out here with the basics, it's why I kept returning. But this is ridiculous. This kind of treatment should not be acceptable. I'm not spending my money where me and my demographic aren't welcome.

Nice beauty supply store in the far easy end of Louisville just off of Westport road near the Ford plant.  This saved me a 30 minute trip out of my way.  This store is small but it's very clean and organized.  The store owner/manager was pleasant.  They don't have the biggest selection but they can fulfill basic hair care needs especially for African American women's synthetic extension needs.  They also had a small selection for wigs for women with gray hair.
