JF3 Salon in Middletown, RI

I love how my trim came out! Josie tried her best to fix my butchered hair (from a different hair stylist), and I think it looks a lot better now. She didn't try to push products on me which I appreciated. I did end up getting the olaplex hair treatment because I do think it made a difference in my hair. Everyone was extremely friendly, and I was offered a drink right away. The salon was clean, not cramped, and there is ample parking.

For my wedding there was only ever one person I could envisage doing my hair in preparation for this exciting time.
Joseph is a hair connoisseur; he truly works magic with his hands and tools. I went into his salon to prep my hair for the big day. Not only is he a sweetheart, but he takes his time to understand exactly what you want to achieve. He'll also tell you what works and doesn't, and why.
We spent a few hours chatting as he took my rat's nest, which was lifeless and full of dead ends, and transformed it into a luxurious cascade of beautiful hair. The end product had me grinning from ear to ear. And I felt like an absolute princess-I could not stop looking at that gorgeous, bouncy creation. And this is even before the day of my wedding.
Joseph completed the princess makeover on the day, and I could have not been more happier. I felt so beautiful and it just capped off my transformation from mousy me to the belle of the ball.
I could go on and on about how amazing he and his work is as you can see in the pictures (I really should have taken before pictures).
Do yourself a favor and go see him. I guarantee you will feel like a million dollars afterwards.

Just moved to the area and had my first appointment today with, Josie.......She's amazing!
I love everything about my hair.....the cut and color are perfect!
The atmosphere at the salon is very inviting- all the staff, including the owner held conversation and made me feel completely welcome....... This is my new salon for the next 3 1/2 years!!

Olaplex is my new best friend!

I just walked out of JF3 moments ago and I could not wait to leave a review. I don't think I have EVER left a salon so incredibly happy with the results (currently dancing and singing in my car). Josie is AMAZING. I have struggled finding the right hair dresser for years due to my fine, blonde hair... most salons leaving me purple, extremely brassy, or just destroying my hair. Josie is so sweet, polite and super knowledgeable. She really listened to what I wanted and explained everything she was doing beforehand. On top of it, the salon is clean and cute and all the staff there are very warm and welcoming. Again, could not be happier. Kicking myself for living in Newport this long and not finding her sooner!

Service was great and right on schedule. I was the bride for a wedding and they opened at 9:30am for me to be on time, hair lady came in early. they usually open at 11am on Fridays. I scheduled makeup, lashes and hair. Loved my hair person (sorry bad with names) but she not only did great with my hair but she gave me great hair advice for during pregnancy and after. And those CHAIRS while they wash your hair! haha i love when my hair is washed but then i realized the chair was massaging me - heaven. make up was also great. i let her know i never wear makeup and she did great, it was just what i wanted. i got compliments all night long!

Keep in mind they are very strict with their cancellation rule! i made an appt for my cousin for the same day and she was in a car accident and couldnt make it so they charged me for her appt that was not going to be used, makeup and lashes application - $80.
