Unfortunately this place went down hill years ago. Jenny kept raising her rates but her quality kept going down. She's a nice person but I would not recommend her. After the third bad hair cut. I just stopped going. Her cuts are not worth the price. More then once I had to get my hair recut elsewhere.
I just got the best haircut ever for the first time from Jenny. Perfection! And she's wonderful. After 40 years she has moved her operation into a small room attached to her house (95 E 25th Ave) due to covid. It's a sweet space and accommodates one person at a time so it's very safe. She keeps it super clean and follows all the guidelines. So, thumbs up for Jenny's Hair.
Something has changed with Jenny's, I'm sorry to report. I've been getting great work from her since 2016, but my last visit was a disaster. Is it the pandemic? Is she retiring? She seemed fine, physically, but her demeanor was very rushed, as though putting through as many people as possible, forget about quality. She should not have let me leave her store looking like that. My hair color was so bad that on the same day my best friend made contact with her stylist who took me in immediately to fix the inexcusable thing that Jenny's had done. $140 later and my hair was much better. Sorry, Jenny's, I won't be back.
