Jenny's Hair and Nails Express in Union City, NJ

Yesterday was my first time coming to this salon and I was a bit nervous at first but I have seen a ton of great reviews and pictures of Jenny's work. I absolutely loved how my hair came out, literally got what I asked for, all thanks to Yessi who took care of me. She did such an amazing job and took her time with me. You can tell that they get a lot of people but the wait was definitely worth it and I will definitely be coming back here in the future! Highly recommend this place.

Great place!!!! Top of the line customer service, from the owner Jenny to her staff everyone was friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They did a great job with my hair, my hair was very long and damaged so got it cut to my shoulders and I love it my hair looks so healthy. I would recommend this salon all day.

This was my first time here. I got a haircut from Jackie and blow dry she did a beautiful job. I also got a manicure my nails look and feel better. I'm glad I choose to try this place . I'm a happy customer.

Perhaps my experience with this place is different because I'm a male and don't need fancy colors or highlights done to my hair, but I've been going to this place for years and years, and never have an issue. I go in, Jackie already knows how I cut/style my hair, and I leave - can't get any simpler than that! Everyone is extremely nice to me and to all other patrons; I often see familiar faces of customers whenever I go in, which means their retention rate must be high. Obviously they're doing something right.

BEWARE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! The ONLY GREAT THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS HOW THEY BLOW DRY. I personally get my hair done with Yessenia. Very sweet person. My issue with this place is that I asked for Aquamarine blue hair & they gave me green. Then I went back shortly after to complain that I didn't receive what I paid for. When I come back & told the owner JENNY whom I thought was professional - I ended up with electric blue hair. They seem to not get the color right. Its highly disappointing. What is even more agitating is that Jenny charged me $120 the 2nd time around. & I said why is the price more if you just changed the color, she responds "I charged $75 last time out of courtesy". She was paid her money & as I walk out she says "De Nada" meaning "Your Welcome". I've come to the conclusion that she is not only unprofessional & rude but clearly misguided with her work. Never going there again!! She claims to be a color specialist. She even had the audacity to tell me the green was not green it only looked green because of the lighting. I showed her a clear picture of blue teal hair. You tell me if she gave me green or not ? *Also I asked for a receipt and JENNY said she does not give receipts. Legally if she provided a service and I paid; I am entitled to a receipt.
