I'm not nor ever will be a shopper. I'm not into going from store to store, trying on clothes, etc. So, Ive been on a roll lately buying items online with free in store pickup. It has to be be one of the easiest way to shop ever.... I've used a combo of coupons & rebates for some great deals on quality items. Some I've purchased for less than I would shopping on the store vs online.  I'll be honest that everything I've purchased has been basic wardrobe type garments where fit isn't all it.
Each time I've entered the store, employees have been friendly and welcoming. The ones who have waited on me for my amazing pick ups have all been great.
The store itself in my eyes could use some updates. It's looking tired. But I'll keep doing what I'm doing. This is a great way to shop!

My wife and I went to JC Penny to have both of us our eye exams done. The doctor was ok, but the manager was so rude we was sitting with her going over the options, prices etc. We was telling her that the prices was very high compare to others special when the store had a 60% of on glasses. As i was sitting down talking with my wife about making a decision, the manager get up and said you wanna pay for wife exam now, i was like what!!! we are not done. I just get up paid and left the store. Sandra was must nicer. I'm telling everyone don't go there services, and prices are the worst. THIS STORE MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED SHE ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT A FRIENDLY PERSON, AND SHE TALKS NEGATIVE ABOUT ALL OTHER STORES VERY UNPROFASSIONAL,,,,, WE'LL NEVER GO BACK THERE.

I just bought my first refrigerator. I researched on line and found exactly what I thought I wanted and the best price, interestingly, was at Penney's. I know; I was also surprised. But when I got there, I found that I liked another one better -- better lights, better options. But that one was out of stock, luckily for us. Because then we found the one refrigerator that had all the options that we wanted AND was small enough to fit. If it weren't for Michael, the awesome salesman, we would be SOL. He worked with us and gave us a great deal, and he was a cool guy. Thanks, Michael!

Worst customer service experience of my life. If you need  photos done, especially ones that really mean a lot to you, do not go here. Go anyone on the entire planet but here. My iPhone takes better pictures. Not worth saving a little money at all. The girl taking our photos was rude and rushed us the whole time. I have been waiting a long time to be able to take family photos, and she just took photos of our daughter and said we were out of time and refused to take any family photos. I was devastated. She refused even though that was the reason we were there! No one should be allowed to treat customers like that, I sincerely hope someone notices what an awful person they have working there. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this experience. I just hope I saved at least one person from wasting their time and money.

Ok if you go to a store and find something you like. But NEVER order on line -,pay for shipping to you and return shipping. I just paid $15 to return curtains that cost $54?- can't say I got my "Penney's worth!" I'm cutting up my card as soon as bill in paid . Plus they are more expensive than Amazon - just ordered coffee maker for $20 less with no $4.95?charge for an oversized box. I don't live near enough to a store to care about going.
