JCPenney Salon in Owasso, OK

The signage was incorrect with men's suits and I had to buy a suit that I really liked when it was at a lower price. That is a classic example of bait and switch and is an illegal business practice. I offered to let the associate and manager fix the issue but they refused.

The manager Kim was standing by the door texting while there was 1 person at the register and the line was  wrapped around the store...

After waiting an hour in line I got to the front and asked Kim if she was the manager. She was very rude and short with me and eventually started to completely ignore me.

I asked her if it was standard procedure to standby and not help her employees when they are clearly struggling. She argued back and forth with me, then ignored me and walked away.

I then asked her if she was done with the conversation. She rudely blurted out that she was texting someone to come stand by the door.

She then came to the register and said do you want me to help you or not? ... she rung up my stuff then went back to standing by the door while the line was still extremely long.

Owasso  JC Pennys not helpful at all in salon. Would not recommend. Did not get a return call from salon manager.

I spent a total of 14 hours at the salon (3 seperate appointments). On the second day I was not charged due to the salon not having the right product in stock. But was told to come in the following day, today, so that the stylist, Valerie, could fix it for $15 under glossing. I was charged $80 (with a $16 discount, making it $64) and when I asked why, she said it was because of "all the product used" but she never informed me that the extra product would end up adding up into the final price. Not only am I highly dissatisfied with the miscommunication between the customer and the stylist but also with the fact that throughout the entire 14 hours, Valerie never once carried a full conversation with me. Put yourself in the situation, 14 hours, in a chair, with nothing to do but to entertain myself with my phone. Doesn't sound fun does it? And at the end of it, my hair is mostly grey, like I asked, but I still see a lot of gold tints in it which is why she used "so much product" in the first place!

Before you walk into the store, you know this is the nicest JCPenney's in the Tulsa area.  The chic, modern exterior is reflected in the decor inside.  

The inside was bright and clean.  The staff was nice and helpful.

Only downside was that the sale prices were more expensive than other JCPenney's in the area....
