JCPenney Salon in Forestville, MD

Don't even think of ordering anything requiring delivery from this unmanaged company. I order two components. First they tried to deliver one without the other which is a non-starter. Then for a week they send a message late in the day saying delivery will be in the morning and no one shows. Late in the morning they then say delivery in the afternoon. All by computer bots with no one answering the ;phone at the delivery firm. Today the sales person finally got through and they said they still do not have the seconds piece of the order.

Do not shop here. I've been trying to get a refund on an item i never got for three months. They don't answer the phone, manager never calls back like they say she will, the worst, most incompetent employees ever.

I recently purchased a STERN & AFOSTER mattress from JCP, when the mattress was delivered to my home it was soiled, in 3 different places, I called JCP for more than a week and they refused to give me a discount to have it cleaned, I was advised by JCP to return the mattress and place a new order, this was done, the new order came and the mattress again had the same soiled marks on it, I refused the mattress and cancelled the order. I believe this mattress was in the JCP showroom becasue when I went there to look at different ones I saw that same stain on a few mattresses in the showroom. It is so disgusting a company like JCP will deliver a mattress in that condition knowing that the customer have to sleep on the mattress, and its not something you can wash, the customer service reps were so rude and unwilling to work with me, they promised to call me back and to date have not, its now going on 2 months going through this process, (The only person that followed up with me and was very understanding was the salesperson PETRINA she gave me her cell no and was calling me, but there is not much she can do, I have placed an order with the manufacturer Stern & Foster and have to wait another two weeks for delivery, I do nt presently have a mattress on my bed. I have pics to prove it so does the delivery company, as they are the ones that first pointed out the dirty mattress to me, but said they are just delivering so they could not have refused to do the delivery. (wish I could give minus zero stars)

Delay in receiving my receipt for an online purchase resulted in my visiting the store for pickup, Forestville, Maryland, to find out whether the transaction went through (more than 2 hours before the store closed). By the time I arrived, I finally received a receipt while standing in line at the store's upper leve. However, when I spoke to the floor supervisor, she told me to return the next day to pickup the item because it hadn't processed yet. THE ITEM WAS JUST INCHES FROM US IN THE STORE BECAUSE I TRIED TO PURCHASE IT IN THE STORE THE DAY BEFORE BUT WAS TOLD TO LEAVE AND ORDER ONLINE, WHICH I DID. To avoid having to make yest a third trip to the store, I asked if the supervisor would approve the online price so that I could take the in-store item with me, a mere difference of maybe $15 dollars. She merely responded by saying the item had not been processed yet. I will be returning both items which totaled more than $200 in sales. The customer service toll-free number is no better. The phone representative could not even find the identifying order phone number. Hmmm, I wonder why the automated service was able to find it. An enormous waste of time and energy and no regard for the customer experience. I will do my best never to shop there ever again!

Penny's was having a sale online and I came here to pick up my stuff. I didn't really have time to look through the store, but from what I was able to briefly check out, there wasn't too much there, and what was there was discounted. The Sephora looked to be pretty stocked, and I dug how they have created measures to ensure everyone's safety by having selected entry and exit points. Regarding online orders, the pick-up area is on the second floor, the same place where they handle returns. When I first came upstairs, there was a fairly long line, and one person behind the register. They have places on the floor directing people where to stand, and plexiglass between the the workers and the customers. My order was there as expected, I was asked to check it prior to leaving to make sure it was correct and provided a paper receipt. When I came back a couple of days later to return, I didn't have any issues getting my money back, despite having made my payment with Paypal online. Every time that I interacted with someone within the store, be it a customer service person, or someone to simply ask a question regarding the location of something, they were polite and helpful. As I was leaving, they made an announcement regarding closing at 7p. No problems here.
