Lisa is a wonderful stylist and very talented at what she does! My mom and I have gone to her for our haircuts and colors for a couple years now, and have even followed her from her old salon to her new one here!

Definitely recommend, the salon was clean, looked well maintained and relaxing.

We needed a haircuts for our boys, 7 & 4. I was nervous because I've been cutting their hair for about 3 years and despite it not looking awesome it got done and they didn't get freaked out by the clippers or some stranger. We called JCP on a Sunday afternoon and they had an opening that worked perfectly with our schedule. I let the receptionist know that my son had not done well on his last haircut at a salon and that we were a little nervous but she reassured me that Gary would be patient as he has kids of his own. I scheduled for only one child since the 4 year old was adamant about not getting his cut. We arrived on time. Gary was ready for us and let us all come back. I had no idea what kind of cut we wanted but while he got our kiddo in the chair and started combing his hair I googled a pic and showed it to him. He was able to give our son a great cut that matched the style and would be versatile and work with his type of hair (thick and wavy). Then we asked if we could squeeze in our youngest who was now willing to have a haircut and Gary was able to do his too! He really understands hair- our kiddo has two cowlicks in the back that make his hair stick up so Gary came up with a solution that allowed him to have some style while taming the cowlicks. We're so pleased and will definitely be regulars from now on! Side note: the haircuts were $17 each which is on the higher side for a kids cut but I feel was reasonable for the great service and haircut.

Clean, pricing as you would expect anywhere.  Maddie does a great job, seems to care about what she is doing to your hair, not sure if products are pushed on stylists to sell, but has never attempted to push any product on me to buy, which sometimes you get at places.  Feels you out to give you the result you want!  Thank you!

I've been a loyal customer of the JCP Salon in Coralville, IA since Matthew Penner has been the manager. He is a consummate professional and extremely talented colorist!  He is also excellent at providing perfect recommendations for products I now swear by!  Everyone else I've met in the salon has been wonderful as well. Misty was particularly helpful and reassuring about hair extensions for my upcoming wedding. I always leave feeling great, whether I'm just getting a trim, full cut and color, or hair beautifying treatment!

When I called to get pricing for a pedicure the receptionist kept putting me on hold over giving me a price. Then the salon manager got on the line and said they have a pedicure room but only for existing customers. With the basic pedicure price at $35 in is certainly country club pricing. I will never go there
