JCPenney Salon in California, MD

I've never had any problems at this particular location. We order quite a bit of clothing through Penny's online system and then if there are issues we can return them to this brick and mortar store. They often have pretty good sales, and if you get the coupons from the local papers there are some great deals. Sometimes the lines are a bit long at the cashier but the staff is always friendly.

I ordered site to store items WEEKS ago. They have still not arrived! The store told me to call JCP customer service. Customer service told me to call the store. I told customer service to call and figure out what's going on. They tried calling multiple times, but can't get anyone to answer the phone!!! JCP can see the truck is arriving late (not that they bothered to notify me), but even after the truck arrives they don't know if it will be hours or DAYS for the store to unload, sort and contact me for pick up. Wake up JCP! Your customer service is TERRIBLE! And unlike most site to stores, I had to PAY for this terrible service?! Never again!

I ordered a coat and had it shipped to this store for my mother. The JCPenney in my area was out of her size so I figured it would be easier just to sent it directly to her...WRONG. I ordered the item on Black Friday. It didnt arrive until December 10-- six days after the latest arrival date they predicted. Then on December 14 when she drove up to the store to pick up her coat and another item she'd ordered herself she's was told they couldn't find it. I called the store and after not getting an answer in the womens department (twice) I tried kids. A nice lady answered and went to look, she couldn't find it either. She asked if I could call back in 20 minutes so she could look through two more racks. I was okay with that and called back some time later. Guess what? I tried the kids department twice and the womens department twice-- NO answer. JCPenney should not do catalog orders. This is only my second one. I didn't get my first order either. JCPenney as a whole needs to fix their inventory and logistics issues. You cant have people order and pay for stuff only yo cancel the order bc you dont have the inventory or show that a package has been delivered to one of your stores only for your employees to not be able to find it. Unacceptable.

If I could I would give them ZERO STARS. I went to purchase items for my granddaughter that had a BOGO sign on it. Greg the manager on duty said that topper was wrong. Then they took the sign down it said $29. Again Greg the manager on duty said it was too wrong. He would not honor the price nor would the General Manager Alvin who had the audacity to call me back FOUR DAYS after the incident to tell me that the red sign means nothing besides the top does not say BOGO (Meg stuck it back in upside down) but who would say by more save more and not think the buy one get one does not apply - means equally the same to me. Even though he talked to Greg the night of and told him NOT TO HONOR the display pricing. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE all the way around. They will be next after to go out of business!

Walked in at 9:59am through their open door, and was told to leave because they don't open til 10am. Very creepy customer service. Belk is 100 yards away.
