J T Hair Salon in Torrance, CA

My first time walking out of the salon crying. I left with bleeding scalp due to chemical burn that she put for hair color. She bleached my hair 3 times which is far way hair color I wanted. To end up having orange and green hair. I had to go to ER to get it treated. She even asked me to pay more than previously asked without saying sorry.

If you want to dye or bleach or color your hair, ask for Ms. Song!! (She's Korean but can speak English well enough.) Ms. Song is the best, I've been going to her since 2018 and she worked at Salon Hair Magic a few doors down for a long time but she moved to JT Hair Salon less than/maybe a year ago. I've attached some pictures, started with my natural brown to peachy-pink (first time so didn't touch the roots) to rose gold (did my roots then but hair grew out) to a brighter/lighter pink and then to neon pink..now the highlighter pink is my go-to color:) The second to last picture is my most recent, 9/2022, and the last picture is when i went to get a trim in 1/2023, you can see the color isn't as bright but still going strong. Probably going to stay pink with Ms. Song until she says no, haha, and don't forget, after-care and maintenance is the most important!

The only reason I go this salon is for Lilian to do my hair. She has been cutting and styling my hair since 2005 and have been very happy with her work. She is extremely detailed and always strives to please her customers. I have called with last minute requests and she has always makes every effort to accommodate my requests.

My mom went to Martha Lopez for years, and I have followed in her footsteps. She's a really good stylist, did my daughter's prom hair many years ago as well. I am very happy with her styling.

JT Salon is the best! John is my go-to guy for me and my family. He always does a great job and knows exactly what we want. I highly suggest this place to all of my friends and family!
