Impression Nails Lounge in San Antonio, TX

I was quickly greeted and seated for my manicure that came out exactly how I wanted it. Everyone was sweet and gentle. My full set was 75.00 which is more than I usually pay but not complaining.

2nd time coming here. I'm active duty military so I never get to do anything fun with my nails. I'm on leave for the holidays so I decided to go all out. I had Rachel shape my nails then she had to leave for an appt & then Ellie P designed my nails. I am absolutely in love with the attention to detail & working with me to make sure I was satisfied with the colors chosen to recreate the design as best as possible.

This place is pricey which would be fine if the quality was there. I came in and they were not busy- plenty of techs waiting around for customers to come in. They tried to do my dip manicure and pedicure at the same time- not quite ideal when I'm 8 months pregnant. Contorting around in the chair the way they had me still would have been uncomfortable even if I wasn't pregnant. They looked at me disgusted when I asked them to wait to do my manicure until after my pedicure. Not to mention they were essentially yelling in my ear at other staff and each other while doing my nails- not really relaxing. When the guy did my dip manicure- he was trying to rush (still not busy). Sloppy work- didn't even cut cuticle but instead tried taking it off with the drimmel and kept cutting me with it and making me bleed. I asked him to stop multiple times and of course he didn't until I pulled my hands away and said no more. He went and got someone else to finish who actually removed cuticle the appropriate way. I complained to the owner at checkout and she discounted the service but I won't be back and I would not recommend coming here

I have been going to this salon for some time now and it has been consistently getting worse and worse. Today I made the mistake of taking my daughter in there for a dip manicure. There were 3-5 other employees gathered around the technician doing my daughters nails and speaking in a language not native to me or my daughter, but were pointing at her nails and talking and laughing. It was very rude. I refuse to ever go back to this place again. Her nails look like trash and Vivian (the manager) seemed uninterested in the issues when brought to her attention.

I requested a fill and a pedicure. The nail tech completed both services with a smile. He did hurt my cuticle and made it bleed slightly but I feel like he was just going to fast. The vibe was nice, music was as techno but I like that kind of music and the drink I received was good. They seem to have a legit bar there. It was very relaxing and I enjoyed it very much. I wish the technicians all had name tags but my guy did not.
