I just did a gel pedicure.
This place is close and convenient for where I live. I come here often with friends, my husband, my kids, etc. The chairs are comfortable and the techs are generally nice especially when I bring my daughters. Unfortunately this last time was not a good experience. We got the deluxe pedicures which are supposed to come with several upgrades like hand massage and hot stone massage but we didn't get it. Then when we went to pay I turned in a card with 10 stamps that I've been accumulating and on it it says "After your 10th pedicure, the next one is on us!" They refused to give us one free and instead gave us $15 off and took one of my stamp cards that had 5 stamps on it and threw it out saying it was old and from an old owner. I tried talking to them explaining that the card very clearly reads it should be free. One lady tried saying it's only free if you get a manicure and shellac. This is very disappointing and I feel like I just had $50 taken from me. If the card said something different I would completely understand but I feel like they pulled the rug. If their policy has changed it would've been nice to honor the old or offer something comparable and let me know going forward it will be different. After many years of coming here, I am going to look somewhere else.
I went in yesterday and got the worst manicure of life. It looks extremely sloppy and gloppy, the polish was so thick I can only assume it was expired and now my nails are all chunky and textured and covered in air bubbles. The polish doesn't even meet the edges of my nails and I certainly could've done a better job myself. I can't believe I paid and tipped for this and I feel dumb for not saying anything in the moment, but I also didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home.
I left 2 stars because I have been here quite a few other times and been happy, but it seems there has been a major decline since ownership/staffing changes. I will be finding somewhere else to go in the future.
Staying at hotel across the street. Fit in 3 for mani/pedi, very nice ladies, clean, quick. Excellent experience.
I've been going here for years. Tina and Sandra go above and beyond for their customers. The recently remodeled and have new owners (one of which was a nail tech here). Highly recommend. They do a great job!
