Rough selection on Friday afternoons, but my husband and I went here after our wedding day on a Friday morning and the options were so hard to narrow down. So it seems hit or miss. The cupcakes are moist, delicious, and buttery creamy frosting. What more can you ask for? Great!  

Plus, the staff is always so friendly and cheery, you can tell they have passion for their work.

Was putting together a "cupcake tasting" to decide which cupcake shop I should use for my upcoming wedding. I went all around the manchester/concord/lakes region area. Out of the three that I chose (Queen City Cupcakes, Lakes Region Cupcakes, New England Cupcakery) this was the worst. The cupcakes looked fabulous, but fell short with all my taste testers. They were dry, crumbly, and lacked the full flavor I was looking for. There are better cupcake places out there, this was definiately subpar and sadly wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

Yummy! While the cupcakes are a bit on the dry side, I haven't yet had one that was so dry that I could not eat it, and all the flavours I've had have been yummy! My favourite is Total Darkness, easily! The two I had of this one were REALLY moist, with very creamy frosting, and both frosting and cupcake had a really lovely, intense dark chocolate flavour. And to top it all off, the owner is such a sweet lady!

I've visited three times. The first time I went the owner, Lia, was the one working. She greeted me right as I walked in the door and asked me what I wanted. I asked her what her favorite was and told her I'd take that. The display was neat, clean, and very appealing. Loved the decor. I decided I would eat my cupcake in the store at one of the tables. I took a bite of the jumbo sized cupcake and didn't get what I expected. It was very dry and crumbly. I then tried the frosting. It was okay.

Several months later I heard they were having a grand reopening and the recipes would be changing. I figured I'd go back and give it another shot. When I walked in, I was once again given a warm welcome by an employee. The store still had it's lovely appearance. I decided I would try a different flavor this time. Once again, it was dry. The frosting, however, was different. It was overly sweet. I have a VERY sweet tooth, but I was unable to finish.

I decided I'd give it one last try. I got the same fantastic service, but was displeased with the product.

Lia and her employees are very friendly, but the products just don't match. Maybe it's just me.

Went in on a Saturday morning so cupcakes should have been fresh and they were not. Very dry. Bought 3 ended up trashing 2 1/2 of them. Waste of money, They had more gluten free that day than any others. Would not go back! Bread and Chocolate store way better! And right down the street a little within walking distance.
