Derickus and his Team are awesome! I have an amazing experience every time I visit the salon. During COVID, I feel comfortable going to his clean establishment. You can literally smell the cleaning products when you enter the door and everyone (Stylist and Clients) wear a mask! I leave feeling safe and  with a look that has people stopping me about my fabulous hair!

I made an appointment after moving to Charlotte in 2017. I found Kendrick on style seat and booked a blowout. He did a great job on the blowout which included a deep conditioning treatment. I always get a trim, and I was very satisfied with that add on as well. I have dabbled in different salons while exploring Charlotte, but I ultimately choose to come back to Kendrick @ Hera by Him. We started out only doing blowouts the first few times I saw him. Since then, I've had a cute invisible ponytail, bob cut on my natural hair, and today I got a full sew in cut into a bob. He is very good with cuts, so I did trust him to cut my real hair. I got tons of compliments when I got it done. I am happy to know that Kendrick can handle all of my needs, and it is never difficult to get on his schedule. Not only is he always on time, courteous, and genuinely interested in giving me what I want, but it seems that the entire salon staff is also in sync. The salon is well-decorated. The music is very relaxing. The bathroom stays clean (very important). It never feels over crowded. Everyone's always in a good mood.

I simply just love this place all they need now is to serve hors d'oeuvres and mimosas and maybe even spa services ( by the way I offer those services) and I'll just spend all my money here.

My a one from day one Solomon with the magic hands! When I say he's all about healthy hair. He promotes and delivers quality results. Along with a little trash talking (LOL) He does it all short, long, sew ins, quick weaves, etc. Looking for a dependable stylist you can trust? Solomon is your man! I'm very particular about my hair, it one thing I don't mess around with. I can trust Solomon to have me looking my best every time I see him. When I sit down in his chair I don't have to worry about what he's going to do. He know me as his client and what I will and will not be seen wearing. Now when I say the shoes might surprise you a bit (LOL) pay them no mind, it's all part of his creativity. Do you want a stylist that has you looking like everyone else or are you looking for someone who has outside of the box talent? I travel almost 45 min. To see him because he's that good!
