Headrush Salon in Denton, TX

For the expensive price, the lack of quality was just not worth it. I came in wanting a ashy brown balayage but came out with a streaky, chunky, not blended blonde/orange hair. I don't understand what went wrong. Only half of my hair looked like it was dyed because apparently balayage means that the bottom layer stays natural....that may be true if it was blended. They were very nice to let me come back and fix it free of charge. They couldn't get rid of the chunky streaks in my hair so they decided to tone it to get rid of the brassiness. After toning it two men started to blow dry my hair. I feel as if they should let me see my hair so I can see if it was the right color because after they spent so much time blow drying my hair, I didn't have the heart to tell them that it was not what I wanted. I just accepted the fact that this salon cannot help me and I'd rather spend my money on somewhere I trust

Went to Headrush for the first time on Friday, got a short haircut and a balayage. The balayage went great, but the haircut was absolutely not what I was looking for at all. He butchered my hair, and had to go to another salon that had to cut it shorter to fix the terrible job I was left with. All in all, my hair was cut WAY shorter the anything I wanted it to be, and I will NEVER be returning. Save your money. Overpriced and not done right. Ending on a positive though, the guy was really nice but I was super disappointed by the end result.

I just moved here from California and needed to find a new stylist. (I am very particular and honestly haven't settled with a new stylist since my former stylist moved about 6 years ago!) I did a ton of research on Yelp, Instagram, etc. before choosing Caily at HeadRush. I knew from the consult that she was the right choice. And she was! I am so incredibly happy, finally the search is over! She created the most beautiful, fine highlights, giving me an overall stunning blonde. Jennifer Anniston status. ;) And my cut is wonderful as well! Just a trim but it lays so much nicer now. If you're a blonde (or going blond), go see Caily. You won't regret it!

Ever since I started going to see Cailey at Headrush I have never gone anywhere else! She is so sweet and really knows her stuff! She makes helpful suggestions and really has her customer's best interest when making hair decisions. Most places would just try to give the customer what they come in for right away even if it ruins their hair. I love that Cailey is so honest and makes suggestions of healthy and safe steps to get my hair to the desired look without frying or ruining it! Make an appointment with her! She's awesome!

A bad haircut crushes my very soul. I lose my will to live. Just sayin.' Kristy Goplin at Head Rush brought me back from the abyss. She has a graceful, methodical technique AND she understands curly hair (!). PTSD from a chop shop scrub brush haircut from another salon was a sleek bob and Zen-like calm after 45 minutes. It was almost Biblical. Not quite changing water into wine, but close. Way too much styling product for me but it was probably necessary to work with the Brillo pad hair I showed up with. Given that I was jumpy and anxious, and that she was working with me and my hair for the first time, it was a WOW result. I will follow the peaceful path of good hair karma back to her chair for my next cut. Excellent work.
