I had an appointment 2 weeks out for a cut and color. The morning of I got a text confirmation. Then an hour before my appointment, I got a text canceling the appointment. The text had a bunch of stupid emojis but no apology. I tried to call to reschedule and was forwarded to voicemail. Highly unprofessional. The new location also looks like it's in a run down house. The German Village address on Google is outdated.

Darren was great from start to finish! He sent a message before my haircut to tell me about how he was adjusting procedures to keep himself and clients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We talked first about what I wanted and then he described what he thought would be best for my hair type and goals. The cut was fantastic and he explained what he was doing the whole time! The cut was great and efficient. I was nervous about finding a new hairstylist after moving to Columbus but I've definitely found one! All the other reviews praising Darren did not lie.

I'm new to the area and looked at Yelp to find out where I should go to get my hair cut - thanks, Yelpers! Whitney was so much fun to talk to, and she did a great job on my hair. She made me feel like I actually had options for how to style my short, curly hair, and I don't usually hear that! She had to reschedule my original appointment for personal reasons, and texted me immediately to let me know. She came in the next day (today, on a Sunday) to make up for it. I will definitely return!

Be sure to call ahead to confirm your appointment before you drive 30 minutes like I did this morning... Arrived only to find out that the stylist I booked with over a month ago was no longer with the salon - strongly recommend devoting some attention to enhancing communication with clients.
