Happy Nails & Wax in Jackson, TN

Went there today, service is poor. Salon began to get busy and techs rushed through pedicure for myself and other customers. Polish is not neat. While under dryer I spoke with another customer who had same service, I paid more than her. Hmm, that's odd. Didn't bother to inquire because no one speaks English well enough to understand. Or no one admits to understanding any more than round, square, gel? This was my third visit, won't be back.

After waiting an hour for a pedicure, I left. It would have been understandable except there was no backlog. The manager simply did not designate a tech  for the job. She apologized after 40 minutes but 60 minutes later....I walked out.

My nails look great, but I paid for a manicure and only got a polish change. They rushed through me to get to another person because they were fighting over "turns." Good nails service, not good customer service.

Awful! I've been waiting for 2 & a half hours. After I rite this review I will leave. I've wasted time I can never get back. They are extremely slow. Also this just happen: This 11 year old child(yea I asked her age) come up to me & I've been sitting here for a hour & tell me that her dad said they are closed. I tried to remain calm but it didn't work because I'm sick of dumb people. I ask the child to point me to where her dad is because I didn't want to talk to a child like that but she wouldn't.  So I start yelling "EXCUSE ME, BUT I BEEN HERE FOR A HOUR. THIS CHILD IS IN MY FACE TELLING ME I'M NOT GOING TO BE SERVICED! I BEEN HERE FOR A HOUR! I WILL BE SERVICED & SERVICED WELL AT THAT! YOU WONT DO A RUSH JOB ON ME BECAUSE YOU COULD'VE VERY WELL TOLD ME WHEN I WALK IN...WHICH WAS AT 620 & YOU SAID NOTHING!" They looked at me. The child said "but it's almost 8" & I said "I CAN TELL TIME!!! NOT MY FAULT Y'ALL SLOW." Then they said..."she just playing. It's a April fool joke". No it's a get butt cursed out joke. I won't be coming back here either.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I was so excited to have money in my budget this month to get a pedicure and I chose Happy Nails. I was seated next to a woman that was well into her pedicure and she looked happy and relaxed. I chose the Spa Pedicure. My technician didn't massage my feet at all, burned me with a too-hot towel, my nails were crooked and the polish was very uneven. I brought it up to the gentleman at the front and he offered to fix it. I was hesitant and wanted to leave. I ended up allowing another young man, whom was very nice, to give it another shot. He straightened the nails and applied new polish but that wasn't enough to improve the experience. I wanted to cry and could not get out of there fast enough. I had to pay the full $35 which really sealed it as the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. I don't know when I'll have another pedicure in my budget but when I do I will not be going back to Happy Nails. The original tech and the manager(?) were not genuinely concerned about my bad experience.  Did I mention that the lady seated next to me originally was still in the chair finishing up with her original tech when I left? I am so upset and sad over this!
