Halos Hair & Nail Studio LLC in Boiling Springs, SC

My mother got her hair bleached and it was literally orange and it looked terrible, they charged her $300!!! I'm so upset even an unlicensed hair stylist could do a way better job FOR FREE!! Do not recommend this places for hair AT ALLLLL!!!

I visited Halo for the first time about a year ago after asking the cashier at Aldi where she got her trendy short haircut done. I met with Angel and she understood the exact vision I was going for with my hair. I am particular about stylists and I have super thick hair so I've had disasters before with people who don't know how to handle that. She was thorough and always checked her work and made sure I was happy with it. It came out great AND the price is unbeatable for the quality of work. I've had disasters from salons that cost $100 for a cut and a cut at Halo is only $20. Great value.

Went there to buy my girlfriend hair products. Spent about $60 and as I walked out I was told never to return because they didn't like a friend of mine. I had never been there before and will never go there again. I wish they would have let me know before I spent my money there. Not worth the drama, go somewhere else.

I have been going to Halos for years and I am never disappointed. Everyone there is friendly and professional. It is a fun environment and you can tell they love what they do. I recommend it to anyone looking for a permanent hair salon.

The stylist was distracted and very unprofessional.  During my hair cut she talked on her cell phone which she wedged between her neck and shoulder.  The products she used to style my hair with were drug store quality, not salon professional hair products.  During payment for services she turns to me and says how much of a tip should I put on your card?  Once I arrived home and checked my haircut I found sections that were very uneven by 1/2 inch or more and a section behind each ear where she just cut out huge chunks.  I contacted her about the quality of the haircut and she said you can come by Tuesday or Wednesday and I will look at it. Sorry.  

I'm very disappointed by what passes as professional customer based service in this salon.  It appears to be all booth rental so each stylist is working for themselves and there isn't really any recourse in the event that a client receives a botched service.  Also the restroom was dirty and ventilation poor because during my service I was overwhelmed by the smell of nail products from the nail salon area.

It has taken me months to grow out the areas behind my ears where she cut out huge chunks.  My advice is to skip this salon.
