Halo Blow Dry Bars in Burlingame, CA

This is by far one of my favorite blowouts I've ever had. I was so sad when dry bar closed all their locations in San Francisco. So I was looking for a new place that does blowout. My coworker told me about this place as she raves about it all the time! I booked an appointment through phone 2 weeks in advance and was scheduled with Ginger! Parking is horrible in Burlingame so I recommend Uber. Ginger was super nice & it took 45 mins to do my hair. Blowout was $55 not including tips! Would definitely come back. I loved how my hair looked. This is going to be my go to spot! :)

This was my very first visit to Halo. Just had the most lovely Fabulous Blowout by Ginger...and It looks gooorgeous!!! Not only that, Ginger was so friendly and I thoroughly felt taken care of. I also felt more comfortable that the salon had great ventilation/air flow. Can't wait to go back. Ooh! Also, newbies, they have packages you can purchase for a discounted rate....just do it!! Again, I am so happy I discovered this gem and looking forward to when I can go back. Thank you, Ginger!!

Back to the five stars and for Miranda specifically. She took the time today to do ALL of the right things . The thorough wash with no water dripping down my neck to ruin my blow out at the nape of my neck, using the more sanitary papery towels rather than terry cloth which catches and kinks up my hair, the right amount of the perfect anti-frizz, heat protectant and shine spray products, sectioning my hair, using brushes for the exact amount of volume and the vital cool shot to seal the seal! Miranda does not ask many questions, because she knows what to do! All the stylists are pretty good, but Miranda gets the crown for her technique. She takes 40 minutes, not 20. I had a little snafu with my blowout frequency card but this was easily cleared up by contacting the owner. Janeen the owner of this Halo salon is the best. She actually wants and responds to feedback directly. She spent years as a stylist before buying the franchise.

I've never been to a dry bar before, but Irina was excellent! She was so personable and gave me a great cut. Getting a wash before and after the haircut was a really nice bonus that I didn't expect. I will definitely be back to get a cut from Irina again!

Jeanette is a blessing! She is more than what you can believe! Very talented at heart and won't let anything set her back. She takes her time to make every star shine and never would think and do otherwise. Her passion is bright and it's always a pleasure working along side with her. I've known her for X about of years and there is not a day that goes by that I think differently. She would not ever give you less and will always stand up for all the right reasons. As a latina and beyond.
