I took my son for a pedicure, advertised price was $48 which was high for a pedicure regardless but I went with it .....
Every time I turned around they were adding on paraffin wax etc etc without asking permission & if we wanted additional services. While the services were good and the staff was friendly I do not like being taken advantage of and having services rendered without consent. Upon checkout the bill for a simple pedicure was $110 without a tip! I didn't make a scene or not pay - I paid a $20 tip as well  but I was ticked off. This is my #1 pet peeve with nail salons - I realize it was a touristy location which I tend to stay away from but these salons TAKE ADVANTAGE and then just expect you to pay and say nothing.
I would NOT go back. I just want to warn future patrons to make sure they are getting and complying with any additional
services they add on as they are working hard to rack up your bill without letting you in on it.
This makes me upset!

My mom Julie does a great job!  Courteous and speaks English well.  Nail salon is clean and located directly across from the beach.

Went here with my daughter while on vacation for a little mommy and daughter date. Gel manicure was disappointing, visibly lumpy and they forgot the top coat on one of my daughter's fingers. They charge you a whole lot and try to add on more stuff. The location is nice but the service is unfortunately less than mediocre.

I actually had no intention of getting a pedicure even though I'm sure my toe nails needed the help. My husband and I were planning to go swimming at Waikiki Beach across the street. It was interesting to see how he was drawn to the nail salon. It was the prettiest nail salon that either of us had ever seen. Very clean and modern.
Some staff  near the door noticed him looking and invited him in. He'd had pedicures before and he loves foot massages. The friendly staff was finishing up with some customers and could take us almost immediately. They sat us down side-by-side in the best massage chairs. Wow. My back was happy.
Lin took care of me and Van took care of my husband. The two women examined our feet and diagnosed our problems almost like doctors. My husband and I both have ingrown big toe nails, dead skin on the soles of our feet ( from wearing sandals all summer) and overgrown, unpolished toe nails. They went to work.They did a lot of work.
I loved the sweet smelling, soapy warm water on my feet. They used so many different tools to remove dead skin around cuticles, ingrown toe nails and soles. They even had a cool little wireless polishing machine to even out my nails. All the while, Lin made very good conversation which made the time go by quickly. I picked gold gel polish #117 for holidays. My husband picked black gel polish. They finished the treatments with hot stone massages to our calves and feet. Very relaxing and a new experience though I think I prefer reflexology.
When they were done, our toes looked and felt amazing. I was happy to say good-bye to all of the dead skin in exchange for soft feet. I think the gel polish pedicure was
$60 or $65 apiece. The hot stone massage was $20 apiece and all of the other in-depth skincare brought the total bill for the two of us to just over $200, but you'll need to double check those prices. The staff works hard and the results were awesome. Thanks so much!

I went there today 12.5. All I wanted was gel pedicure and french powder dip manicure.  I was never asked what I wanted to spend, they layered on parafin for feet, charged for removing old gel, charged for filing, charged for cuticle trim, rock massage.  There was no communication other than sharing life stories while my bill added up to $265.00 for gel pedicure and dip manicure.  That was before tip.  I have never spent that even at a 5 start hotel or spa.  Shame on me for not asking but seriously there is a standard charge for gel pedicure with parafin and french white dip for nails.  I never leave bad reviews but this was highway robbery of a tourist.  DO NOT GO THERE WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY WILL CHARGE IN ADVANCE.  NICE PEOPLE BUT MANIPULATIVE AND NOT FORTHCOMING.
