Hair Cuttery in Westminster, MD

I've been going to that HairCuttery location for almost 20 yrs. Everyone is so friendly. April is absolutely wonderful. She truly understands the art of cutting/coloring and answers any questions I have. Thank you.

Just needed a trim and thats what I got perfectly, quickly and with a smile. No muss no fuss.

Tonya gave me amazing highlights, and a great cut. Definitely going back. The transformation she gave me was incredible. I feel great with my new look.

Today I had a haircut at the Hair Cuttery Town Mall in Westminster, MD, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The stylist assigned to me was Taylor, and I must say I was completely unimpressed with her service. Taylor appeared to be completely disinterested in cutting my hair. Throughout the appointment, she had a lackluster attitude that made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. It's essential for a stylist to be engaged and enthusiastic about their work, and Taylor fell short in this regard. What frustrated me even more was her lack of professionalism during the haircut. Taylor seemed to be in a hurry and cut the majority of my hair with one hand on her hip. This lack of care and attention to detail was evident in the final result. I was left with an uneven and messy haircut, which was not at all what I had hoped for. To make matters worse, after completing the haircut, Taylor did not bother to comb out my hair properly. This left me with uneven strands, adding to my overall dissatisfaction. My experience at the Hair Cuttery Town Mall with stylist Taylor was a letdown. I walked out with a horrible haircut and a strong feeling that my business was not appreciated. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment, and I would caution others to consider their options carefully before booking an appointment here.

I debated writing this review because I typically don't leave bad reviews. But after a few days with my hair and not liking it every time I look in the mirror I decided I should. My first visit I had Tonya (I believe) and she was AWESOME! And she's the reason I gave 4 stars) Lovely to chat with, listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure to check in with me throughout to make sure I liked everything. She is awesome and was so happy with the result since it was a big change. I came back and had someone else and regret not asking for Tonya. I just wanted a tiny trim to get my hair looking a little less shaggy from my last appointment. This stylist cut a lot more than I wanted- over an inch I'd say and I have short hair so it makes a difference. I'm pretty upset I even got my hair cut again because (as I told her) I liked the length, just wanted the back to match. But oh well. Hair grows. It just stinks because I got my hair cut for a trip I'm going on and now I'll hate it in all my photos. I know for next time to only go to Tonya. What bothered me moreso than the hair, my stylist was not nice to her coworkers. She was pretty rude when asking them to do something or correcting them. That stuff always rubs me the wrong way. Wouldn't avoid the place all together but would definitely ask for Tonya when you go for any cut.
