Hair by Premiere in Newark, DE

Asked for highlights for the summer and got low lights. I called and asked for anyone due to my last minute calling for an appointment. I think I got someone new. My lesson- don't ask for anyone who can fit your schedule.  My own fault but will never go there again. $200 for a partial highlight - wow! Also, was hurried out of the chair and never showed me the back of my hair. Stylist didn't seem to proud of her work. I think she knew she screwed up and wanted to rush me out or it was the end of the night and she wanted to go home. Will pay more for an experience stylist at another salon!

I had been going to another salon and seeing one hair stylist for the last 3 years. The last time I saw her, she told me she was unable to get me to the blonde shade that I wanted, but could get me a few shades darker. I decided to look for another salon. I found hair by premiere. I looked at all the different hairstylists and found Haley Balck. Her work was perfect. So I booked a full foil and haircut with her. I am so happy I did. In one session she was able to get me to where I wanted to be, where that other hairdresser told me she couldnt get me to. She is very meticulous with her work and all about making you happy. She definitely loves what she does!! I will be back!! Thank you so much for getting me to the blonde that I wanted to be at.

Maddy M. gave me EXACTLY the haircut I asked her for.  If I sound excited it's because getting what you ask for rarely occurs, in my experience.   I cannot tell you how many times in the past I have left a salon and felt that the stylist had not heard me at all....  Maddy is a great stylist who offers advice and suggestions but ultimately hears and lets the client decide.  My new style looks great and is easy to manage.  I'm a happy camper.   I will ask for her services again soon.  Thanks Maddy M.

Absolutely love my balayage from Alyssa! It was my first time ever getting color in my hair and knowing this she took her time and walked me through everything she would be doing and made sure to understand what I wanted. She is so sweet and did an amazing job. The Akon itself had a lovely front desk staff, was clean and beautiful on the inside. Overall a great experience!!

Very unhappy with my 2 visits.  Both times I had the same person.  My first visit I had a picture of a very simple shoulder length cut with sweeping bangs.  I walked out with an inverted bob and no hair on my neck.  The cut was lopsided (which I didn't notice until the next day) and so short I felt bald when I washed my hair.  So I waited until my hair was the length I wanted, took a chance and went in again.  Got the same person and told her to just trim the ends because I liked the length and touch up my bangs.  I walked out with my hair shorter than the first time.  I hate this cut, it looks awful on me.  I can't go back and say give me my hair back so there's not much I can do.  So disappointed and now the wait for my hair to grow back begins.  It will give me time to find another place to go and get a stylist that will listen to and give me what I want.

They're very friendly, nice and polite but I can't handle another little boy cut.
