Amy is the best. Been going to her for years! Puts up with me being late all the time, & fits me in last minute every single time! Love her!
So last minute urge to get a haircut... but where should I go? I didn't want to go to famous Sam's as it was a basic service,I received there last time:/ so let's go to Yelp :) I found Hairbizz.. 3 min from my house in my neighborhood! Let the adventure begin!! I walk into what looks like a dental office from the outside:) a woman greets me at the desk and a nice man... I say I'm a walk in! They tried to get me in with one of the several people in the salon (they were so nice!) the man says can you come back and gives me a list of open times. Sure I can... so I take a 2 o'clock with Amy... as I leave I remember this salon had a 1 star review ... let me look... oh no it's with Amy!!!! I start sweating a bit but hey, I'm committed at this point! So I arrive at 1:50 and Amy comes to get me soon after! Now Amy seems happy and gets me in the chair and we discuss my hair plans (bonus points) she listened and cut my haircut perfectly. Amy also has curly hair and she understood my want to wear it straight sometimes too. She was kind and had a great vibe! I advised her of the bad review and we talked about it and let me tell you I'm glad I took the chance and met her!!! My hair is super cute and I left happy, FaceTiming my family to show them my curly cut!! I'll be back to see Amy and I'll recommend her to all my peeps:). The salon is super cute and the Christmas decorations were done by another stylist there
Terri nelson does a wonderful job on my hair everytime I go in there. She listens to what I want and does it exactly the way I ask. Won't go anywhere else. You must go see her. She's wonderful.
I showed up 9 minutes late (due to rain & traffic)for an appointment and clearly no one was around. Amy did not even say Hello after i apologized for being late. She rudely began telling me that all she could do was a dry cut and if I was okay with that because all she had time for was that. I told her all I needed was a trim but wanted it wet. She kept saying well if your okay with leaving here wet. The tone in her voice was rude. Not the first time either. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but they are too rude or maybe even racist. I run a business too and I give people always at least 15 mins to be late. This is totally unacceptable.
Terry did an amazing job! I love my highlights! Ricky and I are very satisfied with the service. We will be back! Much love from San Diego!
