I will literally never go anywhere else! Amanda is always very friendly and inviting. I always leave loving the results and get so many compliments.

As I cannot comment on the quality of service, I can comment on the experience I, a new client, was received into the business. The appointment process was via computer with a required credit card on file in case of cancellation or no show. I do understand the concept and actually felt I was joining an efficiently run salon. I then received multiple text messages confirming the appointment. I arrived early, and Amanda had finished her client and said, "I,'ll be right with you. I had a seat around the corner and proceeded to wait. After almost 20 minutes I decided to see what the delay was. There were 2 ladies with her chatting and giggling. This upset me and I said maybe I should reschedule. She looked at me and said OK. Long story short. If this was a professional salon, I believe a new client would have been treated different,y...

The WORST haircut ever!!!! Amanda might be able to do color and other things but she has completely ruined my hair... I even brought her a picture to show he EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted my hair "shorter". I walked in with my hair below my shoulder blades, and walked out with hair not covering my shoulders... I won't even go into the layers that are uneven, she didn't do proper texturing, I can't even style it.... I would not recommend her to anyone!

Amanda gave my daughter a perfect haircut! She has curly hair and was nervous about getting it cut too short but Amanda knows her stuff and gave her exactly what she wanted! Thank you Amanda!

It's been over 1.5 years since I last stepped foot in a salon due to the pandemic and my hair length was really impacting my quality of life.  Long hair is really a nightmare for me since it takes so long to dry and since it requires so much sweeping and vacuuming to clean up after.  I made an appointment online with Amanda at Hair Apothecary Salon to finally say goodbye to my COVID-19 hair disaster. I arrived about 15 minutes early to the salon since I'd never been there before, but Amanda was available and allowed me to start my appointment early.  While there are a lot of other independent salons under the same roof, you are safely separated since each salon is walled in with its own entrance.  Amanda was masked, as was I, for the duration of the appointment, and we had no issues communicating with them on. I showed her some photos of the kinds of short hairstyles I was interested in, but wasn't sure if my hair type was suitable.  She explained why my hair would work for the style I wanted, and what types of hair might not work so well for that cut.  Then she went to work, first carefully tucking in my shirt collar before a shampoo/wash, then getting me in the chair for the cut and style. Since my hair was long and I wanted so much of it cut, she made a point of asking whether I wanted to keep it, to which I said no, but if you want to keep your cut hair to donate yourself you can let her know. Amanda was careful, efficient and professional throughout the appointment, pausing here and there to get feedback from me.  She let me chat as much as I wanted as she worked, letting me just chill at times so there was no pressure to fill in the silence.  I loved the work she did on my hair and all her patient answers to my questions. All in all, it was a great first experience with a new stylist and I will be coming back.
