Hair Angels Salon in Venice, FL

I love working with Pamela at hair angels salon in Venice Florida. She's creates a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere in her salon and does a good job.

I thought I had a 2:00 pm appointment, but I could not get confirmation of it. Nevertheless, after calling twice but getting no response, I went. True, I did not get there at 2:00 pm, but 2:02 pm. This was still reasonable, but no one was there. Yet the web site said it was open.

I moved to FL almost 2 years ago, not being able to find a hairdresser, after having one for 20 years. My husband knew I was frustrated, my hair was overgrown, desperately needing color, I'd given up! For Valentines Day my husband went on a quest to find me a hairdresser. He'd read a ton of reviews and made a lot of phone calls. After talking to Pamela on the phone he decided to pay her salon a visit. She was working on a lady and noticed how pleasant she was with her client and to him. Very endearing and easygoing. He buys me a gift certificate and presents it to me in a card. Today was my appt and let me tell you, she listened to what I wanted, looked at my pictures of how I normally wore my hair and I showed her a picture of what I'd like. Not only did she give me a BEAUTIFUL cut, but the colors are magnificent, absolutely beautiful! She was so happy that I was happy! I got home and my husband just kept saying WOW. He thinks it's the best cut I've ever had and the color was more than he expected. She exceeded my expectations! I went from feeling blah to feeling energetic again!

Went for a $18 hair cut on recommendation of a friend. Pamela cut my hair, was not happy with the cut, Pamela said she would re-cut it, was too busy that Sat. morning , but she would call me the foll owing Tues with a time and charged me $35. She never called so I waited until Sat. and called her, had to leave a message asking why she never called. She finally called the following Tue, a week late, said I could come in on the Thursday to fix my hair, told her I got tired of waiting for her to call, I had some one else fix the hair cut. I asked why she charged me $35, was told it was for the blow dry. Not happy with the cut, not happy with customer service and not happy with being charged $17 for a blow dry.
