I made an appointment for a color and haircut with Ann at Head to Toe Salon. She got me in within a few days and I went to the salon at the time of my appointment. She looked at my hair and ascertained the color she needed to use. She looked at a picture a I brought with me and cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. The salon was great and I was happy with the color and the cut! I will be going back there next month! Loved it!
My first appointment with Kate was for a Mani Pedi on November 22 that I bought via Groupon. When I came in she looked at my nails and felt they were damaged. She sold me a $16 keratin product to apply to my nails so they could heal for awhile. Then I returned for my second appointment on November 29 at 4. The 2 hairdressers told me she just left. One told me I should call Kate and tell her to get her a** over here. Kate was called 3 times but didn't call back until I left her the 3rd message saying that I am requesting my money back from Groupon. She called back ASAP and said she had me down for Friday. No way. I've have a big event posted in my appointment book for that Friday. I paid $24 for a gelish Mani Pedi. Great price for me but I think Kate probably thought it was not worth her time. If she has something better to do she is pretty good at putting you off. I didn't let her get away with inconveniencing me twice and upselling. Groupon refunded my money and I got $16 back from Kate for the useless little $16 bottle of nail oil she insisted I need. If she has something better to do she will stand you up. I was not greeted by the women when I walked in either time BUT when my husband walked in to return the bottle those ladies went right to him all smiles with their backs straight like I knew they would, that is why I asked him to return the bottle and get the $16 back. Kate could have refunded my money via PayPal instead of inconveniencing me a third time. Certainly she can't use an open used bottle. Dark and dirty with no business sign, just white vinyl stick on lettering. Kate is way in the back in a tiny room.
Dirty Shop. Very unappealing. Unsanitary tools. Not up to code at all. Go here at your own risk. You may get an infection you can't get rid of.
Bob, one of stylists at Head to Toe, is great! He does a super haircut. Another area of his expertise is color. He's been doing my hair for years. Head to Toe is a small shop, but the stylists are experienced and very friendly. Most of the clients are long-term customers.

There's no denying that balayage is having a moment. This modern hair coloring technique has taken the beauty world by storm, and it's easy to see why. Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", and that's exactly what the colorist does.
