Greater Than Sparrows Salon and Med Spa in Midlothian, VA

Got a perm and my hair is ruined, not curly, looks fried, lost some of my hair on top of my head like it was pulled or chemically burnt off. Emailed pictures and called/left a voicemail requesting a call back to help salvage my hair and no response. Unfortunately I will probably need to cut a lot of my hair off.

Everyone is friendly. The salon vibe is comfortable. No stressing. A bit pricey, but totally worth it!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Jordan showed up 20 mins late. She was unprepared and had to ask other stylists to borrow their tools. The brushes were unsanitary and so was her station. She barely shampooed or conditioned my hair - she just slapped some on the top but didn't even reach the scalp. She practically burned half of my skull with the blow dryer. The keratin was applied very haphazardly (got some in my eye) and unevenly. She then began straightening and after 15 mins, realized the straightener wasn't even plugged in. She would grab handfuls of hair and just straighten - she didn't even section off my hair, so there are parts of my hair that are still curly. Will never return.

Most unprofessional experience! Booked 2 blowouts for graduation way ahead of time. Told them it was for graduation and time schedules. They said it wasn't problem. My daughter is super nervous about going to salons on day of big occasions and did her own hair for prom. I finally convince her that this will be less stressful and fun, it's a nice salon and they know it's for graduation and the time issue etc. One stylist was late so she took the one that was there and I turns out that he is on"desk duty" on Monday mornings so he kept stopping her hair and going to the front desk to make appointments (other stylists were there and booked walk-ins that morning). Are you kidding me????) I am paying for this guy to do my daughter's hair and he spent the first half answering the phone . I spoke to him twice, finally made a fuss with the owner and someone else finished her hair. so now - thank you salon - she is more stressed than she was when she walked in. Absolutely ridiculous that you are charging full price to your client and then ignoring them to answer the phone. Horrible experience. Was going to get a chemical peel and some other stuff done there but not now. Horrible experience on a very important day. Lost clients for sure!
