Great Nails in Griffith, IN

I let my nails grow out quite a bit, so it was definitely time for a snip. I came to this spot, since it's not far from my house. My significant other and I were hoping it would be a good experience.

We were greeted after we walked inside. I got a Manicure and a Pedicure. The Manicure was 15 and the Pedicure was 20. That was certainly the right way to start things off. Those were good prices!

I sat down in a chair in the waiting area for what seemed to be fifteen minutes. I was started off with my Pedicure. The water was a nice temperature. The massage chair was gentle. I was impressed by the cutting of my nails, but not so much by the rest of it. I wish the bottom of my feet were grated better, as they still felt rough afterwards. A quick stone application was massaged on my legs. I wish that was a little lengthier. The clear coat was sloppy and seemed to be rushed. It hardly had any shine to it.

They set me up for my Manicure right after my Pedicure. This service ended up being average. My cuticles could have used more attention.

The service was alright here. The one who did my services was friendly. I would say he has improving to do with his quality.

Overall, this spot was casual and simple. The price of each service reflected the quality very closely. I would say this place is a bit over average and they have the potential to be better.

The first time I went it was wonderful. I believe the daughter did my nails. I was so excited she did a wonderful job. I went the second time 30 mins before closing and the mother said we are closed.  So I went the next day they let me wait for a hour then said we are close. There were six people sitting and waiting,  They took the five ladies then told me a hour later they were closed.  I asked her if she could take a nail off that I wan't successful with getting off. The mother state, "you want to wait just to have your nail taken off."  So I looked at all the customers and decided to leave. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but I'm beginning to wonder.  I don't like playing the black card but REALLY!

This place is horrible the tech messed up my eyebrows instead of saying she don't know how to wax. Then once I look at my toes this morning the paint is chipping already... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. THIS PLACE DOESN'T DESERVE ANT STARS.

Went to Great Nail 7/17/20. They instructed me to wait in a chair two feet from the current client and then did not wipe down area before having me take her seat. The manicurist didn't not wash her hands or use sanitizer before reaching for my hands. I left and went down 45 to Happy Nail, who even takes clients temperatures before providing services. Great Nail nail salon is not practicing standard cleaning guidelines and there is no social distancing, although they did wear masks.
