Great Clips in Tarpon Springs, FL

I had some old crusty lady cut my hair and botched it when I asked her to cut a little bit off she cut off all or it. i also asked for bangs and a blind 4 year old would have had a better shot at getting them right. The lady literally cut my forehead cutting them.

I was able to get out of bed today after losing my daughter. My husband brushed my hair (I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and don't grip well), encouraged me and drove me. I had my hair in elastic band. A full waiting room around 11am today, 3 stylists and me. I had an online appointment. My hair had tangles but the stylist Leilany was gruff and a bit demanding. said sit down, take off your glasses, no please no kindness. She said "you need to comb your hair, if you want me to cut it", I told her I had it done. She walked away without saying anything but I was in earshot... about my unkept self and she held a small powwow with the other stylist as she pointed and made fun of me. She came back with a different brush. She landed blow after blow as she ripped through my hair. she didn't secure the top to avoid pulling on or out of the root. She made faces in disgust because I had tangled hair. This is in her job description. At this point I was I started to cry because of pain, embarrassment and humiliation. She is brushing my hair with the bristles scraping my scalp. I told her she was very painful in the manner she had done it Upsetting me and hurting me. She said maybe I should brush my hair better. She made a statement that I hadn't brushed my hair in a week. It's not the truth, but I did need help after all isn't that why people go to hair salons? I can't help but think that she was overly aggressive to teach me some lesson. My head hurts and still painful even 12 hours later and taking pain medication. My scalp is on fire. I told her that I am doing and trying my best since I lost my daughter. She says to me that losing a relative is hard. No death is worse than another but mothers aren't supposed to live without children. I had gone here a dozen times before, my 3 boys and my husband go here monthly. That's a lot of business loyalty. They are upset that they've never have vowed never to return. It's almost 24 hours and my scalp is reddened, painful. I am hurt at how inconsiderate, aggressive she was with and towards me. You never know what happened to someone before they sit in your chair. However should introduce yourself, smile and say please and thank you...just like I did for you. When I asked her for her name she was hesitant. Just because I hadn't had my hair done in a year (I don't color), doesn't mean I don't know what a good haircut looks like, and how it should make me feel.

Great experience. Was fast and we all got a great haircut. Whole family (kids included) was in and out in 20 minutes.

RUDE STAFF. Only go here if you want to be treated like a bother. No friendly staff or greeting. I thought during the haircut the lady would at least talk to me or my children (they revived the haircuts) but instead she ignored me and my kids the entire time. The whole staff is unwelcoming and not friendly. Will definitely not be going back

I love this place! I feel like I'm hanging out with my friends when I go in there. Everyone seems to get along really well and it's super entertaining when the stylists all start joking around.
