Great Clips in Sandusky, OH

Had a men's haircut with a woman named Summer. She was great! I've never been there before and was able to get in and out under 30 minutes with a great haircut for a fraction of the price I normally pay a barber. I paid $17 for the cut.

Haircut originally done so quick they didn't bother to check to make sure it was even, which it wasn't. Left it in a comb over so I couldn't tell. Figured out my bangs weren't even because the left side had been combed over so I went back and a second stylist tried to fix. Still not fixed because they addressed the front but not the entire left side, but once again it was combed in a way I missed it. Will never return after two people failed to take the proper time to take a look at the haircut and make sure both sides were even.

I don't even know where to start, there are notes in the computer about how I want my hair cut, and every time they ask how much do you want cut off the top. Just leave 4 inches, how hard is that to understand. Today the person cutting my hair when I was asking about what she was doing, as she had scissors blending the sides when it specifically says detached copped an attitude. Then she stood back and asked "Do you want yo tell me how to do my job?" And proceed to argue with me, there was no way I was going to continue sitting there letting this person touch my hair. She also kept asking me if I could see what she was doing even though I can't see clearly without my glasses on!!! I walked out as and took my son who was also sitting getting his hair cut out with me. We went across the street and a professional finished cutting our hair properly. Avoid this place at all costs. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience here. It once too 45 minutes for a simple clipper on the sides and back and leave 4 inches on top! Let that sink in... 45 minutes... again 45 minutes. Gave them the benefit of the doubt.... waste of time and money, the people there have no clue what they are doing. Notes in the computer, great idea, they evidently don't know what they are for!!! Avoid this place at all costs!!!

We just recently moved to Sandusky and hadn't taken my son ( who is autistic and has trouble with haircuts) to get a cut yet with a new stylist. On a whim we ran into great clips, my son met an angel whose name I believe was kelly. ( long beautiful hair) . She was so professional and strong! She kept assuring my son through screams and fears that she wouldn't hurt him and he was brave and fearless. It only takes one minute to be nice to a stranger and this woman took more time to ensure my son was comfortable with her. I thank god everyday for women like her. And she deserves recognition!!! Super professional, Beautiful woman inside and out. Great clips is lucky to have her!

Worst hair cut ever. Zero concern about quality by the girl cutting mine. Clearly her question, "How do you want it cut?" Actually meant "I have no clue what I'm doing and really don't care so what do you want?" Didn't even bother blowing the hair off my neck and shirt - even though I told her up front I hate having hair trimmings down my collar. So now my hair looks like ass and I'll need to wait a few weeks for it to grow back enough to have someone trim it to look like a normal men's hair. Never again.
