This was my daughter's first haircut and her 11th Birthday. The lady kept complaining my daughter was moving, while she told her to move her head straight then down. Please make up your mind. Then she chopped it all up, my daughter could of done that at home. You can see all these different levels and it doesn't look good. It looks chopped up by a toddler and thin looking hair. My daughter hair is very thick. Then my son picked out a pic and the other lady argued for a half hour and refused to give the haircut. I asked no matter what the hair cut please keep it a little bit long on top , to over a cancer spot that was removed. So she parted it there and cut it extra short there. Horrific experience there. After looking at the books and my kids hair, it's evident they can only do simple hair cuts, not really professionals with experience.
Woman's worst nightmare!!! I went in looking for a basic trim, meaning I just wanted my ends cut. I told the lady cut 2 inches off, and she cut 6 inches off! She tried to give me layers but only gave me one, which is shoulder length and nothing in between. My hair is to the middle of my back, and having one layer that high makes it to where I can't straighten my hair because it's so uneven everywhere. I will never go back and I can't even recommend this place for a basic trim.
Worst haircut I have gotten. Will not be back. The girl with scissors, not a stylist, should not display a certificate.
My wife went to Salon 58 to get a long pixie cut and received an entirely different haircut than what she wanted. She called Great Clips to let them know what happened at Salon 58. The stylist at Great Clips told her they could fix it. My wife showed the stylist at Great Clips several pictures from her pinterest of what she wanted. Long story short my wife's hair looked like a 5 year old with a weedwacker attacked her after Great Clips was done with her. She cried all night and wears a cover on her head to hide the horrible whack job Great Clips gave her. Next time my wife needs a haircut we're just gunna ask our 6 year old to do it instead.
Did not follow clear and simple instructions about my style of cut as she was too busy talking. Because of this, she ended up cutting 8 months of growth off. Will not be returning to this location. She did say she was sorry but it was too late.
