These people don't listen to a single instruction. Worst haircut I've ever got. Cut my hair way shorter than I asked for. Just don't go here

They check everyone before going in, and clean everything before and after anyone touches it. Plus they required everyone to wear a mask. The lady that cut my sons hair was really nice. The hair cut was fine.

Kudos to Great Clips at the Plantation Center. Smooth and sane reopening during Covid event. Allowed online Check-in and then followed up with a phone call. Once I arrived I was greeted outside asked a few relevant questions and had temperature taken. All employees and guests are required to wear masks. Wait time for a cut was short. Jennifer gave me a great haircut exactly what I wanted and was attentive and pleasant. I couldn't have asked for any better service!!!

I have to finally say enough. Rolling the dice on hair cuts every time I walk in. I ask for the same cut every time and they have some information on hand from my profile in their system but each stylist reads it differently. It's convenient and the price is great. Check in online is really a great feature. I've got about 3 weeks before I have enough hair to get this fixed. I wish there were a way to build a relationship with a stylist.

Took my son today. We used to go another Great Clips but it was on our way for what we do and he is back to school tomorrow, so we decided just to give it a try. It was a wrong decision. The lady who worked on my son, I don't her name, she's black with short and very curly hair, appeared to be friendly. I was waiting in the waiting area and noticed she worked on the side and then moved on for the top. My son like his top long so he could pull his hair on one side. All of sudden, she called her colleague working next to her and showed her something and then they asked me to go there. "Someone cut his hair this short," they pointed at his front where a spot was cut very short, almost to the root. I was shocked because I knew it wasn't like this before. He had his last hair cut four weeks ago and no cut ever since until we stepped into this door. Then the staff insisted that it must be someone cut it, if not him, must be his friends at school. I told them my son who cares his look a lot and not even let anyone mess up his hair won't do that, and he is on holiday in the past two weeks so impossible for anyone at school to do so. Despite how we tried to explain it is not the case, they kept on "kids do so and they always deny", and one of them even said to my son "it's ok that you did it, you don't need to be afraid." My son sitting in the chair, trying to say that he or his friends didn't do that, but nobody really listened and he had tears in eyes. It was exactly what upset me. I showed the lady pictures I took of my son yesterday and pointed to her that there was no such obvious "hole" there. She couldn't really say anything but she never admitted that she did it. We know she did, and she definitely knows, but she chose to deny and blame it on my 9-year-old boy. Shame!! She didn't know how to fix it, totally no clue. She suggested to cut hair all his shorter but she seemed not confident in the decision and kept asking me about my opinion. I knew then I should not expect anything from her. As another lady there mentioned when trying to settled the unpleasant experience by waiving off the charge, she said to me "obviously you are upset and it also upsets her (meaning the stylist cut my son's hair) as she is new with us". Finally, I told her don't bother and ask someone else to help fix to make it reasonably ok. She turned to Chandler. Chandler is the reason I give this place a star, without her, it has to be zero or negative given our experience today. Although they waived the charge, I decided to give Chandler a $5 tip to save my son's look for teaching us what to do every morning to cover up the "hole". It might take a couple of months before the cut on my son's front forehead go back to acceptable length. Now sitting at dinner table, looking at my son sitting across the table, I couldn't stop being upset. I know eventually his hair will grow back but I wished that we never had the experience today and no one forced my son or us to admit something we never did, while someone kept her mouth shut all the time for her own mistake. Never apologized. Shame!!!
