Great Clips in Leominster, MA

I got my haircut on 1/14/24 at about 9:00 I could not wait for the person I wanted so another hairdresser cut my hair and it was horrible!!! I do not know her name but she cut my hair once before as well and that was also horrible, she should not be cutting hair. I have gone to the orchard park leominster location for years and have not had an bad experience with anyone else. Next time if I see this person I will turn around and run!!!

I've been coming to this location since I moved to MA back in 2017. I have seen many people come and go during that time but the best thing I had seen was when Amanda was brought on board. I literally went out of my way to schedule my haircuts around when she was there. She became not just a random person but even bridged into friend territory because of her very personable demeanor and empathy. On top of that, she gave a great cut, so I was always happy to see her in the store. Upon learning that she is no longer with this location, I will be taking my business wherever she ends up or starting fresh with a new establishment. When you have talent and work ethic like that on your staff you need to reward it Great Clips. You made an engaged and high performing staff member feel unwanted and disrespected and I have no interest in continuing to give business to you.

Very bad service!!! I can't believe there is an employee serving the kids, in this well-known store. This was my first visit to this store, with my 10 years old boy. There is a girl (about 20ys old), she cut my son's ear during the haircut. When we were about to leave, I saw my son's blood ear, and treated the wound by myself. I was angry because, 1. The girl said the "incident" could have been caused of her, or it was caused in another place, since my son didn't ask her to stop the haircut. 2. I am not sure if this was her first day in the store, but using scissors and severs the kid for 20-30 min without notice that she cut the kid's ear, without seeing the blood!!!The only reason was she didn't care and was not focus during her work. This was terrible! 3. She refused to apologize. She just simply said it may be caused by her. If we want to talk to her manager, by phone or in the store, she doesn't care. I guess this is not her store since I didn't see any ownership from her. During the 30min in the store, she didn't ask if the blood stopped. 4. Forget about improving the skills of service. She needs to be trained and educated as a person, to be honest and have the brave to admit her fault. Actually, I just wanted to hear "sorry" from her. 5. This was a very, very bad example she showed to my son. She showed the wrong way of finding excuses, a bad attitude during work, escape of responsibility. Let's see how the manager responds. Your price is good, but I don't hope your people and service are cheap!

This is a positive review for the people who work in the shop and a bit of a "meh" for their corporate operation. Please allow me to explain: although the folks at corporate failed to update the hours of operation for this location on their website or on yelp, the staff here were very kind and tried to accommodate me as best as they could. I ended up driving a few miles down the road to another location that's open an hour later, but I strongly recommend this location also as it's staffed by people who are good at cutting hair and great at meeting their customer's needs. Big thumbs up.

On veterans day they offer free haircut or free haircut cards to vets. My navy vet husband went in for the card and they flatly refused him. Thank you for your service! They did offer a free haircut if he waited over an hour.
