Great Clips in La Mesa, CA

Came in for a trim and some layering by checking-in online which helped get me seated upon walk-in. Erica (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) did a phenomenal job!! When asking what I would like, I let her know that I wanted a trim to get rid of my dead ends and that the length was still important to me. She was very kind, patient, and made me feel comfortable. Also a huge plus that she would ask when taking any hair away if i was comfortable with the length. Definitely recommend if you're lucky enough to get her as well!

Consistency done a great job with my kids haircuts. Quick in and out if you get in line online (recommended on weekends) which is appreciated with kids attention spans. Have been happy with all their stylists.

Stephanie (Stefany? Stephany?) cut my hair the other day, and I couldn't be happier! I have trust issues with salons and hairdressers, so I was very nervous going in. But now, a couple days later, I am so pleased!! I just recently realized my hair is turning wavy after being straight my whole life, and she is a curly haired girl herself, so she knew what kind of cut might suit me best. I have fine, very low density waves, and am learning how to style/care for it. I got about 3-4 inches taken off, some long layers, and face framing. Now I am in love with my hair for the first time in my life!! I researched some ideas on haircuts before going in, and forgot to mention the layers, but Stephanie suggested it and I'm so glad she did! Everything is even, the perfect length I asked for, and she was kind and understanding the entire time. I wish I could say the same about the older woman who cut my daughter's hair... which unfortunately is uneven and her bangs look like she did it herself. I'll have to try and touch it up myself I guess. That's the reason for 1 star removed. That, and I thought they would wash hair before the cut, but they don't. Is that standard practice now? I've never had my hair cut without a wash first. But all in all, I have found someone and somewhere to have my hair cut after years! And on the way home from work! Score!!

Whoa....its been a while since I left some reviews, but honestly, this one has to be said. I went on 4/5/23, and I can't remember her name, but she may have been Persian. She was really nice and funny, but my haircut experience was not that great. It felt rushed and didn't fulfill my expectations. I noticed around 2 to 3 hours after my haircut that I have this huge line across my neck, which could have been her clippers or something, but after experiencing this I do not want to go back. I hope to be contacted by management, or I might need to get in touch with corporate to possibly get a refund on this. Now I'm left with a burning sensation on my neck.
