Great Clips in Kalamazoo, MI

I've never had anything but a great clip from Great Clips. The attention to detail is top-notch (hair grows faster on one side of my head than the other and I have thick, two-foot-long, curly locks so I'm not an easy customer) and I'm always thrilled with the results and even happier with how little it cost me. I leave a 100% tip every time. Thanks for being such an affordable solution and being so easy to fit into my schedule. You can even set up your arrival time online and skip the line.

Older lady that works in this salon couldn't possibly be any more rude to the customers! Walked in to her shouting at my daughters and I "to cover our faces" After kindly asking if she was not following the new cdc guideline of vaccinated not needing to wear a face mask she angrily stated "if I'm going to be all up in people's faces all day than you better be covered up!" Went across the street to Cost Cutters where they were polite and appreciative of the business.

I had the older guy and he did a really bad job. I left with my hair feeling worse than before. I have thick hair so I like to use the shears to thin it out and he didn't have any and what he did use made it worse. I have side bangs but he cut them in a straight line. He squeezed my shoulders while talking to me which was not comfortable. It really depends on who you get when you go to great clips.

I have been going to this place for over 5 years. Honestly I have not recieved a bad job. All the sataff there are very friendly and professional. I am always greated with a nice welcome and smile. With their check in app its easy breeze and no long waits. The hair cuts are good and fast. Also the whole place is always clean. They also have great deals in summer. Can't wait to get my next one.

Stopped in bright and early on a Monday, just after 9 O'clock. "Do you have time for a walk-in?" I asked. "That's what we do," responded the stylist. "Great," I said. "What's your phone number?" "Oh, I don't give that out," I said. You'd have thought I'd just slapped her grandmother. "Wha...? Well... I can't help you then!" she shrugs. "How am I supposed to log you in?" "As a guest." I responded. "Well, if I have a phone number then you can go to ANY Great Clips -- ANYWHERE -- and they'll know how to cut your hair, and it'll make things SO much easier." "I'm a man," I said. "It's a haircut. It's REALLY not that complicated." Exasperated and sputtering, she shrugs again. "Okay. Go sit down!" she orders. "I don't appreciate the attitude," I said. And I DIDN'T 'go sit down'. I walked out. I went to Hair Masters. Walked in. No phone number required. Zero attitude. 10 minutes later I left a generous tip and was on my way. I will NEVER give my business to Great Clips again.
