Great Clips in High Point, NC

sat there for over 45 mins and watched other people come in and sit down for less than two minutes and get called up to get their haircut. they were a bit busy but I was trying to be patient, but by the time it died down I was still sitting there for an extra 20 minutes while two or three of the stylists sat and chairs on their phones. My name is sat on the top of the list for probably 20 mins, until i went online and put myself on the waiting list again, and hoped they would see someone's name was on there twice and ask the two people sitting in the waiting area .. and then one of the stylists came up to the counter and said "well looks like we have everybody taken care of" . i got up and walked out, luckily i held my temper and didn't get banned from great clips for all eternity. Ignorant staff at its finest. how hard is it to just be observant of the people sitting and waiting?? ended up at a different great clips (archdale location) and had a wonderful experience.

I wanted the reviews I read to be wrong. When I walked in and had already checked in online I was the only person in the salon and all the stylists standing together talking and there was just this energy as if I had broken up a party and that they begrudgingly had to work. I showed the stylist numerous photos (of my own hair with a good cute not inspiration pics) talked to her about some things that previous stylists had messed up, and about something new that I wanted to try on one portion of my hair. She moved quickly and with what I felt was like with little attention. I have very curly thin hair, and when it is being cut if a stylist does not pay attention they can easily cut off too much and it looks very bad. As more and more hair gets cut off my curls get tighter and tighter. But I generally go with it when a stylist acts like this because ironically one of the best haircuts I've ever had with my current hairstyle I was scared out of my mind because the stylist was acting like she was on speed. Sadly I was not so lucky this time. I kind of get different parts of my hair cut a little differently and consider them three different sections. Of the 3, she only got one right. The second she cut way too short just as I had explained others had done. And the third was the portion that I wanted to try something new. I discuss this with her before hand expressing that I wasn't sure if it would work with my hair and asking her opinion she said she felt it would and we gave it a go. It clearly wasn't working and rather than backing off and asking what I'd like to do she double down and kept making it shorter. Now I have crazy hairs sticking out all over the place that I have to trim up and once it grows out they are going to be just like they are now and I'm going to have to grow out through an awkward phase. Thankfully I have very short hair and it will grow fast and in month or two it will be like it never happened but in the meantime I get to go through all the holidays with porcupine hair

I was told they would refuse to cut my son hair by Allsion and Brandy. They stated because I asked if they could cut it because certain people whom tried to cut it before messed it up. My son has african american trxture hair. Instead of cutting it they refused to service both my children and when I asked for the Corporate number Brandy became hostile yelling its a Franchise. I then asked Her if I can have the Franchise number yet she said no she would not. Eventually Allison gave me the franchise number. This is unacceptable and very unprofession

My boys went in for a haircut today and one of them specifically asked for a neck and side shape, not a full haircut. He was still charged for a full cut even though he was in the chair less than 5 minutes. They completely took advantage of my kids. We will never go to this great clips again.
