Great Clips in Hamilton, OH

After asking the stylist to trim up the back I left looking worse than when I went in! I asked her to leave the length on the sides yet that's where she took the most hair from. Turned my asymmetric cut into what looks like someone put a bowl on my head. And took out every bit of texture I had. Still charged me full price and didn't even offer an I'm sorry when I called her out. I'm literally crying after paying $18 for this cut. So here I am standing in the only other open salon attempting to walk in and praying that they aren't as bad as my Great Clips experience. Also.... When I told her what I wanted she looked a little confused so I showed her a picture and she still failed.

I am extremely disappointed in this location and the owner as well. After being allowed to open up during the Covid19 pandemic, patrons were shoulder to shoulder and many without masks on the sidewalk waiting to get in. The salon said they couldn't do anything about it. I contacted another location owned by same person and the manager stated she had the same problem but kept going outside to tell the people to social distance. She told me she would talk to owner. After a week, I still was never contacted by owner and then the manager told me that there was nothing they could do. Lame excuses and very lame behavior on the part all all people involved

Seems like there's a lot of hate for this Great Clips location, but that totally has never been my experience here. I went in for a simple haircut on a Saturday afternoon. When we entered there were a good amount of customers getting their hair cut..but they had enough stylists that they were able to take me right away. Since I had been there before, they had the info on how I usually get my hair cut so I didn't have to waste any time explaining it to them. It's a simple haircut I get..and a good stylist can get it done in less than 10 minutes. Honestly I had a bad feeling they were messing up my haircut at the beginning. I can't explain why..outside of that I always get the same haircut and can notice a difference when it's done differently. Alas, that strange feeling wasn't warranted and my hair was cut looking exactly as it always does afterwards..and in a little over 10 minutes. My stylist was cool. She was friendly but not overly talkative..which is a plus for me. I don't like the awkward small talk while getting my hair cut..it actually really annoys me..so when a stylist can sense this and act accordingly I am so grateful. I've been here before and I would come here again if I were in the area and in need of a quick haircut.

Stylists are hit and miss to find here - none bad but some better than others. My frustration is with their promotional practices. I had 2 offers - the one on my phone had expired the day before and my other was at home a few miles away. I was told you have to have it with you. Something similar has happened 2 or 3 times. So... the offer brought me here (further from home) and earlier than I really needed the haircut yet I'm again paying full price. Today was the last straw. I'm moving my future services to a different place for haircuts. If I'm going to pay full pop and have zero accommodation for past services and 1 day old coupons then I might as well stay in my normal shopping center of business across the way.
