Great Clips in Griffin, GA

No one was in the store and we were still asked if we signed in online. WHY??? No one was there. The stylist powered through and tore a knot in my hair and it hurt! No apologies. Average haircut and she didn't put much thought into it. Looks average at best. I went back to an old style I really liked and the result was disappointing. I'm a mom and don't get to the salon a lot and wish she could have spent a few extra minutes to make my cut look great. No mousse or any sort of styling tips when I told her going in I wanted to get more body in my hair. Won't be back. The stylist was sick and I hope I don't get her bug.

Doesn't matter who cuts my head at this Great Clips, they always get it the way my wife likes me to look.

I called on Aug 4 to see if Crystal was working that day because that is who I get to cut my hair. The lady I spoked to said that she was but she would be leaving t 5:00. I also asked if they still take walk ins she said yes. So I arrived at 3:00 .I walked up to the desk I asked if Crystal was still here. The lady said she had already left. So I told her that I still wanted a haircut. She said it would be 46 min wait and I told her that's fine so I sat in the waiting area . There were 3 ladies working. As I sat there every time someone walked in they would ask did you sign in online when they said yes they took them straight back to get serviced. This went on for an hour and half till I finally walked up to the lady and told her I've been here for an hour and half all these people keep going back before me . She asked me my name and l told her the lady that when I first got there the just said it would be 46 min wait she then asked me my name and phone number then she walked over and whispered something to the other stylish and then told me that she had me in the system. She called another person to the back. I was so upset bec there were 3 other people there to be waited on and I felt like I was going towait on them so I told them never mind I will never come back there again and walked out. They weren't friendly at all. I'll have to say the following week I went to Great Clips in Fayetteville, Ga. They were friendly first time I've been there and got my haircut They did a great job. I will go back to them again

I am so upset by the experience my niece and I had at Great Clips in Griffin, GA. yesterday, August 02nd, 2023 between 12.35pm and 2.00pm. We visited the salon for a wash, cut, and blow-dry, having checked in online with a stated 20-minute wait. Unfortunately, we waited for over 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we were told that they do offer wash, cut, and blow-dry service. Then the stylist we got said she would only do a cut! My 12 year old niece decided to proceed with just the haircut only, as we had waited so long. During the process, I was sitting in the waiting area, which was my mistake as my poor sweet niece was treated appallingly! When her haircut was completed, and we walked outside. She burst into tears! The stylist, an older lady with short hair and a limp working on the right side of the salon in the first chair, was very unkind to my niece, commenting negatively about her hair thickness. My niece felt extreme discomfort during the haircut, and it left her with the feeling that her head was bleeding! Just awful! Today her scalp has red patches all over it! The stylists' lack of professionalism was evident when my niece showed her a picture of the desired cut, which led to an audible sigh. The use of a small comb instead of a regular brush only added to the horrible experience. So unprofessional! Furthermore, the general atmosphere among the staff was unwelcoming. I am thoroughly upset by the treatment my niece received and how she was made to feel. It is disheartening to witness such unprofessional conduct from individuals who claim to be hair stylists. I strongly advise others, particularly those with children, to avoid this establishment. In conclusion, I am deeply dissatisfied and angry with the service and treatment at Great Clips in Griffin, GA. I hope that my feedback will prompt the salon to address these issues and improve their services for all customers. My niece and I will not be returning to this place, and I feel compelled to warn others to think twice before visiting.

Best hair salon gives me a good haircut and staff are kind but one thing I don't like the great clips in Thomson Georgia close that was the only hair salon near where we live but it had to close down due to no help
