Let's talk about Great Clips...

They have online check-in. We utilize that. Last night we use the online check-in service to get three haircut before having a birthday dinner. We checked in about 55 minutes ahead of time because we had some errands to run and we received a 15 minute text as agreed-upon to let us know that our spots were coming up. We went on over to Sweet briar market next to Bob Jones And the door was locked. They wouldn't let us in. They said they had staffing issues and they had to go. So they just closed it lock the door. I could see our names on the register displayed reservation list. Hell! We were next on line!! But they wouldn't let us in. Girl said she had it. didn't call my phone to let me know not to go over there.  didn't apologize for confusion, inconvenience or the price of tea in China. Too bad. So sad.  i'm guessing she must've been hypoglycemic is the only reason she showed her behind. I would have bought her a happy meal if she was nice.  but she was not. I have never had a business open their door half a crack and then shut it at me. That's a new one. The stores are independently owned I found out. If you go over to Great Clips by Bob Jones, sweet briar, market ,make sure the staff has eaten before you put your name on their reservation list.

I took my 3 boys to get haircuts, the two ladies who were working at the time were so sweet and inviting. Hannah gave 2 of my boys wonderful cuts even my 2 year old who is fussy with a buzzer. She scissor cut his hair beautifully.  I would recommend this location and we will be back.

I checked in online and got in quick. My son and I went in for haircuts and they did an amazing job. I loved chatting with the ladies and the one cutting my son's was very helpful with the style I wanted for him. Very patient and friendly! I haven't had a bad cut here and I've gone several times. Would highly recommend!

Got a haircut today.  Checked in in the app and there was no wait time so they took me right away.  My haircut was done by Lashawnd, and she did a great job and had me laughing the whole time.  I was laughing on the way out the door, so that was cool.

This is my "home" GreatClips. It is a friendly, clean, well-run shop. I use the app to check in online and they always greet you when you arrive and confirm your check in with you. Seems like I always get someone different but have never had a bad haircut here. Full disclosure, I have little hair and not much to be done with it. They get out the pet shears and go for it. Still, that takes some skill and again I always leave looking about as good as I can. I've had some silent clippers and some quite talkative but never obnoxious or anything but friendly and nice. Great Clips always seems to have a series of deals and coupons. I'm half expecting they're going to get to the point where they are paying me to get my hair cut. I feel bad for the staff paying $5 or something sometimes and always tip well - and you should do the same. If you've got some complicated hair to deal with, I'm not the person to look for advice. If you're just looking for a good honest haircut at a very good price in a well-run friendly shop then this Great Clips gets the job done.
