Great Clips in Concord, NC

Terrible customer service, walk in lady tells me 5-10 min wait so I go move my car closer to the building...guy walks in after me  I hear him say he doesn't have an appointment and I immediately walk back in to wait and he's already sitting down getting his hair cut.......I work way too hard and am way too old to mention he cut the line so I cancelled my appointment and walked out. What a joke.

So disappointed tonight. Signed in online at 4:30 with a 70 minute wait. No problem. Walked in at 5:35. Only two stylists. Male stylist chose not to cut my hair due to the layers I need. Female stylist took a walk-in in front of me. Left at 6:10 with no haircut. Ridiculous.

Yesterday I took my daughter into Great Clips and the stylist had a terrible attitude. It was so terrible that her co-worker asked her if she was okay. First, she refused to blow dry and style my daughters hair. I have personally never walked out of a salon with a wet head. She said she would need to know 2 weeks in advance for that. I'm sure Great Clips relies on walk in customers so I'm unsure of that policy. My daughter showed a picture of what she was wanting and then asked for layers, to which the stylist replied there aren't layers in that picture. We know, okay but she would like layers. She never gave her layers. My daughter asked for curtain bangs...and again the stylist failed to do that. Now, my daughter gets her hair cut about once a year. It was such an underwhelming haircut that it looked almost identical to when she went in. If the stylist is having a bad day I completely understand. Perhaps she should not have been so annoyed with cutting an 11 year old girls hair. I don't know the stylists name. We were ready to leave and make a point to not return to a Great Clips. One rotten apple as the saying goes. Great clips could use a lesson from Chic Fil-A in their customer service department. And for a haircut that cost about thirty bucks, I should have saved time and trimmed her hair at home.

I hate to complain, but this place is terrible. I brought my two sons with me to get a haircut and none of us received A good haircut. I've given myself better haircuts using dull clippers at home. The cuts were uneven and one side of my head didn't match the other side. There were places on my head that were completely missed. On top of that, the lady cutting my hair talked about how much she liked Trump. I can't express how terrible this place is. We'll never go back, ever. I suggest you don't go either unless you want a bad haircut that your wife has to fix when you get home. 100% awful.

My husband got his first haircut from [this] place today.  It's close to home, and we pass it daily.  He didn't have an appointment, and he didn't have a long wait time to be seen.

The cut was $14 plus tip, and they didn't push products on him.  The haircut was very basic, but took a very long time.  More than 35 minutes.  

Parking is plentiful in the large, shared parking lot.  The place is clean and family friendly.  

How does his haircut look?  
Well, just imagine a $14 haircut on a 30 something year old man.  Ooh, are you impressed?   Well, that's how his hair looks.
