Absolutely terrible experience. Mary hairstylist was extremely rude to my kids, was rushing all the customers, complained about her job. Refused to cut my toddler's hair. I would never recommend to go to this location.
While on vacation my daughter needed a haircut so we came here. We got an appointment within the hour. My daughter asked for a trim and layers. The stylist informed us what she thought what be best for her type of her and proceeded to trim her hair and layer it. She was quick, efficient and did a great job! My daughter loved it. EXCELLENT experience!!

I went into Great Clips in Clayton with the intention of donating my hair. I have been to this location before for a trim and/or layers and have always been satisfied but no more. I asked the stylist if I were to cut off 8-inches to donate where my length would be. It would bring it to about my collarbone level which was perfect. I told her I didn't want it any shorter than my shoulders but I wanted a few layers in it after she cut my ponytail off. She said "sure, I can put some layers in." Perfect, I thought. I guess I also assumed she knew basic anatomy and was aware of where my shoulders were. Apparently not because suddenly, 2 more inches are gone and THEN she starts layering it! She asked what I thought and I said "well it's a little shorter than I wanted" and (I had explained a bad experience at a different Great Clips location where the stylist cut off more than I wanted) and she replied "yeah but it's not as short as last time!" With a laugh. Um, yes, it's exactly what I DIDN'T want to happen again! So it's about 2 inches above my shoulders with even shorter layers that make it really difficult to put up for work (which I have to do every day). I will never be back to any Great Clips ever again. Trust me, it's worth paying a little more for a decent haircut!
