Great Clips in Chattanooga, TN

I went to the great clips next to the fast access and they were super nice and friendly BUT...
The lady chopped off almost 4 inches even though I said, I don't want to go shorter, all I wanted was some layers and to thin it a bit
And it felt like she was going to rip my scalp out, I kept flinching because I could feel her pulling hair out of my scalp. My scalp feels scratched from how hard she was slamming the comb into my scalp.

Right after landing at Chattanooga Airport, I checked in to the closest Great Clips, with a 17 minute wait, on 03-16-21. By time I arrived at the location, the app said I had a 2 minute wait. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, then asked to wait in my car for a phone call, which seemed weird for a 2 minute wait. There were 2 staffers, with both of their chairs occupied, and 3 waiting on the lobby chairs. As I turned around toward my car, I saw the list on the customer screen, and I was 2nd of 4. I never did get a call as I saw multiple men leave, so I went back in & occupied a seat. I was pretty grumpy because I'm on a time schedule, and my 2 minute wait turned into over 20 more minutes, THEN my hair was NOT FADED as requested. It was faded too high on one side, with a high, sharp edge on the opposite side. I went to a Great Clips in Knoxville to fix my hair as best they could, the next day on 03-17-21.

Previous experience at this location have been great. Today's experience proves that there are bad apples in every bunch. Most unprofessional experience ever. Despite previous experiences, todays experience trumps them all. I will never frequent this place again.

I have been coming to this Great Clips probably for 2 years for shampoos.This location is only 5 minutes away so it is very convenient for me. I go here for shampoos due to health issues which make it difficult for me to both wash and style my own hair. (I style my hair after I get home. Also, I skip the haircuts here and go to my long-time stylist who works on the other side of town, but my husband and daughter come here for haircuts.) So, though I come for the bare minimum of salon service, I have not experienced anything but kindness. I use the online check-in to schedule my time and usually am taken back within a moment or two of arriving. I honestly would expect the occasional stylist to give me the rush job since I am there only for a $7 shampoo. But I believe that every time by every stylist I have received the full treatment--down to a second shampoo, scalp massage at times, generous conditioning and, overall, a great shampoo complete with TLC!

I've been going here for a while and have always had a good experience.  Today Chrissy cut my hair and I was in and out in 15 minutes which is always a big pkus for me. This location is SO much better than the Atlanta stores I used to go to, they don't push product on you the whole time your in the chair.
