Great Clips in Athol, MA

I don't know the name of the barber in the first booth but she is terrible at cutting hair and has a poor attitude. She did my hair 2 weeks ago and my wife told me I had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. Brought my son there yesterday and unfortunately he got the same person. His hair was so uneven that when I mentioned it to her, she said it was the way his hair was and would comb it out to make sure while rolling her eyes. A guy waiting started to laugh because he could see how awful it was. I declined. I'll go dinner else to fix it again. The only positive there is that you can check in online to save you some time. But it does not allow you to pick the barber. Won't be going back.

this salon is the first one i've been to since having a bad haircut experience at another salon years back. i've gone here multiple times to get my hair thinned out, layered, and dead ends trimmed.. i've had different stylists do my hair at different appointments and i've still never been disappointed. i always leave this Great Clips satisfied and feeling so much better than when i went in, they're the only business i trust with my hair.

Working at this salon was a different experience. I've been trained to use different cutting/razor/shatter/layering methods of hair shaping. Due to this, some of my cuts came across incorrectly. If you look at a razor cut as a layered cut, you will see it as wrong even when it was not. I really enjoy shampooing and blow drying hair. This salon is literally a one and done which is great if that is what someone wants. I appreciate the time I had here. Management is beyond kind. Considering my almost 8 mos of working there and only having issue with one person is awesome. I don't do well with snakey, lying girls. There was only one. This was a great experience work wise for me and I miss folks.

Awful experience! I had my hair butchered by one stylist and had to have it fixed by the other girl. I was late on my date with my fiancée and thankfully we had late reservations. But I didn't have time to shower to put new makeup on! So waited a good seven months until I was on crunch time for my son to get a quick cut before school photos! Well I'd wait 2.5 hrs at the absolute best place in my town again to not have his cowlick sticking up and the sides being shaggy around the ears with stray hairs! This place is zero on 1-5 your coupons go in my paper recycle bin. The blonde lady is the butcher who did my hair if your wondering who ruins the rental booth.

Unhappy with my hometown barber, i decided to try a new place. Looks like each hairdresser rents a stall. I got Maddy. She listened to what I wanted and delivered it precisely. A man's cut with tip was less than twenty. Definitely coming back! Only reason I gave four rather than five stars, they ask for your phone number. In this day and age of excessive phone spam and identity theft, I don't give such info out unnecessarily.
