Grand Nails Salon in Indian Land, SC

I love this salon. Very clean, staff is friendly and their prices are pretty reasonable. One of my favorite salons in the fort mill/Indian land area.

They try to rush and the employees are very inexperienced or burnt out. I gave them several opportunities to fix their service and worked with several people but this is a bad business and bad deal. Melania is new but does a great and thorough job. I would go to her if you have to go to this awful salon. Every other person I have had did bad, rushed work.
The last lady I had messed up my nails pretty bad and I came back so they could have the opportunity to fix them - they threw a coat of clear gel on top of dip nails to fix the finish. Now it is peeling off and looks terrible. I spent $150 for the worst my nails have ever looked. My toes a nice guy did but clearly he was new and not well trained. He cut them super short and at slanted angles, got gel polish got onto my skin and bled everywhere, and the color needed a third coat which he didn't give so my toes looked genuinely different colors. Just bad overall and like I said I have given them so many opportunities. Extremely disappointed.

I have been going to this salon for a number of years before and after COVID.  This morning I called and asked if Tony was working today and was told "yes".  Then asked if he had availability for dip powder nails.  The employee asked me "for what time" to which I responded "anytime".  I was told to come at 1:45pm.  I agreed.  I arrived to be told that I would need to return in an hour since he was doing a pedicure and then had to do the client's nails.  I agreed.  I returned at 2:45pm and waited another 20 minutes.  Annie came over and wrapped my nails.  Later her husband came over and did my nails.  Not only did they not honor my appointment, but I did not even have the requested technician.  I had specified a specific technician because Louis had done my nails the last two times.  Both experiences were terrible.  The first time I had to come home and shape my nails myself because they were so bad.  He just rushes through the process making it less than a relaxing and pleasant experience.  

I have noticed the lack of cleanliness recently in the salon.  Table lamps are dirty.  Wall lights are dirty.  They never wipe down the pedicure or manicure stations after services are complete.  I do not see them wash their hands between clients.  You can find five nail salons for every mile you drive it seems. If you are in an industry with that much competition, you need to provide for a quality experience.

Needless to say, I will not be back.  I did politely and quietly let the incompetent scheduler know this when I checked out.  She said "ok".

Place is awful. Don't come in at 5 if they close at 7. They'll tell you to hurry to pick out your colors. My wife came home with a bloody gash out of her foot from the pedicure and 2 days later she now has pus filled bumps on both legs. I guarantee the way they rush out of there the cleaning and sterilization is half done if it's even done at all. The pricing here is the same as everywhere else so save your time & your body from an infection & go elsewhere.

Do not waste your time making an appointment.  If you are a male - do not waste your time either!  My nails and feet looked better before I walked in ....NEVER AGAIN!!!!
