Graeber & Company in Boise, ID

I recently had Amber highlight my hair...it turned out gorgeous as always! Amber has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. She is consistent with all of her services! I am so happy she is at Graebers; it is beautiful, professional and I love the Aveda products! Amber listens to you and will give your hair the best cut and color you have ever had!

I went to Graeber in August an Kaitlin cut my hair. We probably looked at 10 photos of what I wanted in the consultation before she cut my hair. She layered the hell out of it and it will probably take 6 months for it to grow out. Btw, the pictures hardly had any layers. I have called Graeber 4 times and still haven't heard back. 3 times for Kaitlin and once for an owner or manager, I haven't heard back from them. When I asked to speak to an owner or manager and I explained the situation I was told an owner or manager would contact me without 48 hours. I haven't heard from them yet ant that was  days ago. This haircut is horrible. If someone from Graeber would have called me back you wouldn't be reading this review.

Shout out Amanda for always being a bright light in the salon. She's an amazing hairstylist. Always listen to your needs and make sure you get what you want. Make the whole experience so fun and relaxing

I'm leaving this review because my elderly mother doesn't have a yelp account. My mom, Sharon Michel, got a cut and color in August. She has shoulder length grey hair and wanted some blonde highlights and a simple cut. She left looking basically exactly the same as when she came in, but paid 250 including tips for this look. A few days later, she called into the salon to have it redone to her liking. Not only did they not offer to fix it, they never called her back and it's now September. She lives on social security and a fixed income, so 250 dollars for a hairstyle that barely changed is a huge blow to her. It's industry standard to always fix a haircut or color if the client is not happy. I live in Portland and have never in my life not been offered a free of charge fix if I didn't like a haircut. And I also go to salons that charge upwards of 250 dollars. Additionally, the customer service here is a abysmal. They clearly discriminate due to age and wealth status. Very unhappy that my mom was so mistreated by this salon.
